Chapter 6
"S-Sebastian. I missed you so much."
"Come on. Let's get you cleaned up."
We walked around the crowed of people. Luckily Lizzie didn't see me. That would have been a mess. We made it to the washroom with out unwanted attention. But Ceil saw us as we were walking past his study. He came out of the room.
"Sebastian. Who is this?"
"Her name is ______."
"What are you two doing?"
"Going to the washroom. Something happened on the terrist and her makeup smeared. So I am showing her the way."
"Alright. And when you are done with that, make sure every one is gone by midnight."
"Yes my Lord." We went into the washroom and Sebastian got a warm washcloth. "My my, look at what a mess you are. And it's such a shame, it looked so pretty." I laughed as he washed away the tears and messy make up. It took a little bit to get it off. But it was worth it, I got to be up close to Sebastian for the first time in 200 years.
We were walking into the hall and saw only a couple people left. Lizzie, Paula, Lau, and Rin-Mou. Sebastain carried Lizzie to the carriage along with Paula walking by his side. He told Lau and Rin-Mou to get going. Prince Soma and Angi already left, so we didn't have to worry about them.
"So, Sebastian."
"Yes."
"Where are the servants?"
"Asleep."
"Okay, just wondering. Considering I didn't see them at all. I started to wonder if it was just you."
"Well, by the way they act, it is mostly me. Bardry, the chef, blows up the kitchen. Finny, the gardener, destroys the roses. And Mri-Rin, the maid, breaks everything. So I have to fix it, but they do protect the manor like they are told."
"I think it would be nice to work for Ceil. Something to do in life, instead of waiting around for another immortal to come along and kill you."
"I won't let anything touch you. Not like Claude, I won't let him take you again."
"Again? Sebastian, I was never took. Yea I went into hiding, thinking that he had killed me, but that was only to get away. Did you really think I had died?"
"Yes, but I wasn't thinking. I had forgotten you were an immortal."
I yawned it was getting late, he might not sleep but I do. I felt petty for him a loved one gone. I know how he feels. But you must stay strong no matter what. A family member, is a family member, you must move on.
"Are tired form all that kissing already?" I blushed, I wished he didn't bring that up. I kissed Grell, well he kissed me. But I did kiss back. Never mind that.
"Yes, I am tired. But not from kissing Grell." I replied with a hiss.
"Oh dear, my little kitten needs a cat nap. Come on." He lead me to a bedroom. I'm guessing it was a guest bedroom, it was amazing. The bed was a king sized, with a drape over the top. The sheets were black and decorated with white. The window drapes were black and decorated in with white. The dresser was polished and shined.
Things got blurry and I couldn't open my eyes any longer, I rested my head on Sebastian's shoulder as we were walking in. He picked me up and laid me under the sheets. They were so soft and comfy. I heard Sebastian say a sweet goodnight before I drifted off to sleep.
~The Next Morning~
I woke up to a knocking at the door.
"Mmm...come in."
"My lady are you awake?"
"Hmm? Oh...yea, I'm awake." I yawned. "What time is it?"
"10:30. But it is time to get up, the Earl would like to see you."
"You told him about me?" My vision was blurry and my limbs were still weak from just waking up. I looked to my right and saw Sebastian was going through the wardrobe looking for a dress.
"Yes, it is my job."
"Oh." A small period of silence came and I found my self drifting off to sleep again. But was soon awaken by something soft landing on my face. And a soothing voice telling me to get dressed. I got up, went into the washroom and freshened up. I looked down and saw I was wearing a white gown.
Where did this come from?
After awhile of thinking about last night I realized what happened, and who undressed me.
"Oh Sebastain." I said in a sing song voice.
"Yes?"
"Did you undress me last night and put me into this night gown?"
"Why yes. I didn't want you to sleep in your day clothing." I mental slapped my self and washed my face. I put on the dress which was a little lower than the knees, that was very poofy at the bottem. It was purple with white out line. I braided my hair and put it to the side.
"Okay, I'm ready to see Ceil."
"For now on, instead of Ceil, you will call him master, Lord, or Earl."
"What?"
"You will see. Besides you said you wanted to work for him, did you not?" After that I realized what he ment. I didn't mean for it to come out like that. I just wanted to see Sebastian again, it was an excuse. But it back fired on me. We walked for a little bit until we came to a set of double doors, Sebastian knocked on them and then went in with me by his side.
"Master, ______ is here like you ordered."
"Good. I'm sure Sebastian already told you why you are here."
"Yes he did."
"Alright, so you know by doing this you are protecting the mansion with your life."
"Yes, I am clear with that."
"Good. You also have to protected me with all your life also." I nod in agrement. "I have one more question, do you have any weapons of some sort?"
"No"
"Hmm, well then. Sebastian, go get _____ some sort of weapons. Dagers, swords, I don't care."
"Yes my Lord." We left the room and headed to the celler. "This is where we store the extra weapons, and wine. But because the young master is so young, we keep it down here." My eyes widened in amazment.
"Oh my gosh! Look at all this wine! You must have so much of it!"
"Yes, but we only use it for balls."
"This is amazing! I'm never going to get over this."
"That's what I thought so." He walked down the pathway and turned to see the wine. He grabbed four bottles and handed them to me. "As a gift, a welcoming gift."
"Thank you so much!" I set the bottles down at the bottom of the staircase and we walked to the back of the basement. He pulled off a drape from a glass box.
"Pick what you like." There were so many choices of weaponry. Dagers, swords, guns, flamethrowers. I took a hand gun, a couple daggers, some amo, and the pockets you put on your legs to put the daggers.
"Thank you again. I know how to use everything here. It was just so many choices I couldn't decide."
"So you know how to use daggers, and a hand gun?"
"Yea, I'm not an idiot." I put the daggers on my right leg, and my gun on my left. You have to be armed and ready at anytime of the moment. Something could happen any second. We walked up stairs and into the kitchen.
"Please excuse me. I have to make the master's lunch and noon tea. Please, go and find the servants and they will be happy to meet you." I roamed the halls and found the door to the outside. I went out and found three servants messing with the bushes.
"Hey look Mri-Rin! It's that new maid Sebastian told us about! And look Bardroy! She's pretty too!" I blushed at the word pretty.
These must be the servants Sebastian was talking about. Finny, Bardroy, and Mri-Rin.
"She is pretty! Yes she is!" They all run towards me in exitment, and hug me.
"It is nice to meet you too." I say as they let me go. "What are you guys up too."
"Oi, Mri-Rin, Finny, and I just got done working on the Garden. We were going to get something to eat. Do you wanna come?"
I hear my stomach growel. "I would love too." We started to walk towards the kitchen but something caught my eye. I stopped and looked closer.
"Hey, what is that?"
"What is wh-" Bardroy tried to ask me but Finny interrupted him.
"PLU-PLU! COME HERE BOY!" I look over at the giant dog coming at us at full speed. I wondered what to do. By instinct I grabbed my daggers.
"Stand back! I got this!"
"NO PLU-PLU IS OUR FRIEND! HE IS OUR DOG!"
"Friend?" As soon as I said that Pluto turned into human form and jumped on top of me.
"AHHHHH! GET HIM OFF! GET HIM OFF!"
"PLUTO!" They all scream. At that moment Sebastian came bursting out the door in fright.
"What is going on?"
"Pluto! He attacked _____! And now we can't get him off." Mri-Rin stammered.
"OWE! SOMEONE GET THIS DEMON HOUND OFF OF ME!" Not only was he licking me, but was also biting into my arm. Making blood gush out.
"PLU-PLU! NOO!" Finny screamed in fright.
Sebastian glared at Pluto and he whimpered away. He got down on one knee and looked at my arm. It was gushing with blood. I saw his eyes flash pink. I grunted in pain.
"Bardroy! Go get some bandages! Mri-Rin, go get the first aid! And Finny!" Finny was sitting there crying his eyes out because Pluto attacked me. "You are fine where you are." The two came running out of the mansion with Ceil behind them.
"_____!" Ceil explained. "What happened?"
"Pluto..he...AH!" I was in to much pain to talk.
"Pluto attacked her thinking she was an enemy." Sebastian said calmly as he got out the rubbing alcohol and a block. "Here, bite on this when I pour it on your wound. It is going to sting." I bit the block and he poured the alcohol on. He was right, it stung, like hell.
"AHHHH!" I was breathing hard.
How could a dog do this much! Shit, he's a demon hound, how could I forget.
"AHHH!" He poured more in and rubbed it. This time it stung more than the last. A tear rolled down my eye. "AHHH!"
"Shh. It is almost done. But these wounds are very deep. We will need to sew them." I moan, the first day on the job and I'm hurt already. Such fun.
Every thing started to feel hazy. The dog almost ripped my arm off, and here I am laying on the ground while Sebastian sews it up.
I couldn't take the pain anymore, I stopped shaking, let go of the block and fell into darkness. Pain free darkness.
