There weren't much people around the corridors when I got back. It was silent. It's night after all.
I delivered the piece of paper which had the drug codes and "recipes" in it to the office and made my way to my room.
'Shower here I come'
Humming quietly to myself, I pressed my hand at my door panel. The lights turned on automatically just as I stepped in.
I opened my closet and grabbed my towel and headed to the bathroom.
•20 minutes later•
"Ahh. Nothing better than jumping into the shower after a successful mission."
After a few refreshments, I sat on my bed and grabbed my TV's remote.
'Isn't here anything else in this thing besides the news?'
The TV screen changed every 0.5 seconds as I continuously pressed the buttons of my remote. The screen flashed endlessly until I gave up and left it on a news channel where the reporter was saying something about some sport or such.
Only then did I receive a call. From the leader that is. I reached for it and quickly pressed the green button to answer.
"Ello?" Nine's face popped up from my screen, a confused look on his face.
"Six, when did you get back?"
'I forgot to tell him did I?'
"I got back about uh.... 30 minutes ago? Something like that."
"Yeah cuz the secretary called me and said you dropped off the recipe that rich drug dealer used. And you didn't tell me when you came back."
"Hehehe. Sorry about Nine. I needed a shower."
"Right. Well at least, you cleared the mission... As always."
"You're welcome~" I smiled cheekily at him, causing him to scoff and release a smile.
"Well I just checked in. Goodnight Six. Great job."
"Nighty night."
Pressing the red button, the screen disappeared. My eyes looked at the digital clock at my bedside.
'11:37pm'
'There's something I'm forgetting......'
'Ah!'
I tapped on Zero's name in my contacts and messaged him:
"Zero! Thanks for helping me out earlier. Mission cleared for us!😜"
As soon as it read 'Sent', I placed my attention back to the news.
Hmm... I'm kinda hungry.... That cafeteria never closes anyway.
I got up and put on my shoes and a jacket then headed out.
'Shower done, food here I come!'
