Chapter 37
"Haejin-ah, wake up already. We're about to leave." Taeyeon said, gently shaking Haejin's shoulder.
Haejin slowly opened her eyes, seeing her roommates huddled up around her bed.
"W-what?" She's having a hard time in opening her eyes. She sat up, her vision starting to spin.
"We're about to leave." Taeyeon repeated.
Haejin slowly stood up, falling in the process.
"Haejin!" Sowon said, catching her when she was about to collapse. "Hey, hey, sit here first." She said, helping her to sit on the bed again.
Sohyun handed her a glass of water, "Are you okay?"
It took her a few seconds before she responded, "Y-yes, I'm alright. Just a bit dizzy."
"I guess we'll stay here and look out after you." Taeyeon said, sitting beside her.
Haejin shook her head, "No. You guys should go and join the retreat. I'll just drink medicine and follow you guys after." She said, smiling weakly.
"Are you sure?" Sowon asked.
"Yes, unnie." She said. "You guys should go, you're running late. Points will be deducted to your team."
"Alright." Taeyeon answered.
"Sowon-unnie, please tell Leeteuk-oppa that I'll be late because of something, but please don't tell him the reason." She pleased.
Sowon was a bit uncertain if she'll follow Haejin, but nonetheless, she nodded. "Alright."
"Oh, and please don't tell Jaemin. He'll freak out. And besides, I'll follow you guys later."
"Alright. Take care, okay?" Taeyeon said, brushing her hair.
"Yes, mom. I'm fine." She chuckled.
"Yah!" Taeyeon laughed. "We have to go now."
"Take care, Haejin-ah."
"I will."

SMTown Retreat Day 4
Just like she promised, she arrived at the venue about 40 minutes later.
"Oh, Haejin-ah. You're here." Leeteuk said. "Sowon told me that you were running late. Why?"
"I woke up late." She lied.
They are currently playing volleyball.
"Haejin-ah! Are you alright?" Mark called her from behind.
"Huh? Why?" She aksed, her vision starting to turn once again.
"Sohyun told me that you were dizzy and you almost fainted." Mark started. "You look fine to me though."
"I-I'm—" She stood up, failing as her vision went back. She slowly feels her body shutting down.
"HAEJIN!"

This scenario feels so real to Mark. It feels like everything that happened before is slowly happening once again.
It seems like the past is once again happening.
They're back at the hospital, waiting for the doctor to come outside the emergency room. He's walking back and forth, contemplating whether to call Jaemin or not.
"Mark-oppa!" Someone called him.
"I told you, didn't I? I told you she's not okay, but you didn't believe me!" Sohyun said, rambling as she went towards the window to see Haejin's current situation.
"Why are you blaming me? She looked fine! She was smiling when I saw her!" Mark said, trying to defend himself even if he clearly has no right to.
"You're her brother! You're supposed to be that person who will know if she's okay or not!" Sohyun bickers.
Mark can't deny it, but she's right. He is Haejin's brother.
"Well I'm not with her all the time!" He said, sitting down, massaging his temples.
He had to leave the retreat and pass the leader position to Sehun.
New Melody and Girls' Avenue enters the scene, amused with what they're currently seeing.
"What is this? What's happening? What are we missing?" Chasung asked.
The two just became silent as they shook their head.
Eunji looked at her best friend through the window. This scenario was all too real. It's happening once again, and she can't help but to worry.
"Haejin-noona..." Jaesung muttered as he looked through the window, looking at her supportive noona who is currently lying in a hospital bed, the doctors trying to revive her.
Jaesung and Haejin are close, they're like siblings. Haejin would always be there to support him, and be his confidant. Jaesung is an only child, and he really sees Haejin as his noona. Nothing more, nothing less.
"What about Jaemin-hyung?" Minhyun asked.
"I think he already knows." Junghee answered.
She promised that this won't happen again, but here they are, back in Seoul, at the hospital, waiting for her to wake up.
"Haejin-ah, I'm sorry..." Mark whispered, tears streaming down his face.
Eunji sat beside him, "Oppa, it's not your fault. Don't blame yourself."
Mark wiped his tears using the sleeve of his sweater, but he couldn't stop crying.
He was scared. Scared to lose her again. He almost lost her.
He's not losing her again this time.
"Haejin-ah, what could have happened to you this time?"
