Chapter 41
(note: this was the time when Haejin ran from Jaemin.)
"Haejin-ah!" He called, but she ran away.
He was panicking.
"Hell, she got the wrong idea!" He shouted inside the vocal room.
"It's my fault! I have to chase her. W-Wait..." Sohyun was also panicking.
The two rushed outside and Jaemin felt like he lost every blood he has when he heard ambulance noises outside the building.
"No! No! No!" He rushed towards the ambulance but Taeyong stopped him.
Taeyong gave him a stern look, "Stay here and tell the others. Tell her members as well. We'll talk later." He said. He has a hunch that the two had a fight.
Taeyong closed the door and the ambulance started to move. Jaemin watched in despair as the ambulance was moving away from him.
He was weak. Everything is starting to happen again.
"It's my fault!" Sohyun was blaming herself for everything that happened.
Jaemin looked at her sternly, "Could you please keep quiet?! I'm thinking of an explanation and you're making things worse!" He inhaled.
He went back inside the building and tried to look for Haejin's co-members.
Heck, they don't have schedules!
He exhaled and fished his phone out, trying to look for the text that Eunji sent him when Haejin was hospitalized last year.
He went inside their practice room, and sat down, his hyungs looking at him.
He burst into tears as he remembers everything that happened. It was too quick. He couldn't explain.
"Jaemin-ah, wae? Why are you crying?" Kun asked, sitting beside Jaemin.
Renjun sat on his other side as he rubbed his back. "What happened?" He has a hunch that he and Haejin fought.
"I-It's... all my fault..." He sobbed, hugging Renjun suddenly. Renjun hates it, but he knows that his friend badly needs a hug right now.
"Hyung, tell us what happened, please?" Chenle asked.
"S-She's... at the h-hospital... b-because of me..." He sobbed once again.
Doyoung knelt down and held Jaemin's shoulder. "Yah, Jaemin-ah. Pull yourself together. Nobody wanted that to happen, okay?" He said calmly as he looked at Jaemin whose eyes are red and puffy.
"Hyung... b-but I was the reason w-why... I-I totally knew what I did.." He said, still sobbing.
"Jaemin-ah, listen to us." Ten sighed. "Tell me, did you want that to happen?" He asked.
Jaemin slowly shook his head.
"See? You need to tell us what happened, please?" Ten said.
"S-She.. she heard us.. me and S-Sohyun... but she got th-the wrong idea..." He sobbed.

"Mark-hyung..." Jaemin said, approaching Mark when he arrived at the hospital.
Mark looked at him coldly, "I think you're totally aware of what happened, Jaemin-ah."
"Hyung, i-it's not what—"
Mark stood up. "Jaemin-ah, I trusted you with my sister." Mark started. Then he continued, "You know that she can't be depressed, right?"
"Mark-hyung whatㅡ"
But before Jaemin could answer, Mark turned his back and left him alone dumbfounded.
Jisung patted his back, "Trust is easier to break, hyung." He said. Then he continued, "But harder to fix."
He's right.... trust is indeed harder to fix.
He knows that it's his fault. Otherwise, whose fault was it?

Mark and Jisung watched as the doctor checked Haejin's condition.
"Doctor, how is she?" Mark asked.
The doctor sighed and removed the stethoscope from his ear. "Psychosomatic syndrome." He answered. "Based on the tests and your statements, she gets weak every time she thinks of a bad memory."
The doctor continued, "We couldn't find anything or any disease. Bradycardia isn't a disease, it's just about her irregular heartbeat pattern, it could still be corrected. Her emotions are the one triggering her."
Mark and Jisung just listened intently.
"I have told you several times before that she should avoid stress, right?" The doctor asked and Mark nodded. "What happened to her this time?"
"We... W-We honestly don't know... but I'll ask her once she wakes up."
The doctor nodded, "She'll wake up later. She just became weak because of what happened." He smiled at them reassuringly, "No need to worry about her too much. She is okay. I'll go ahead now."
Mark and Jisung bowed, "Thank you~"

"What are you doing here?" Taeyong asked when he saw Jaemin waiting outside Haejin's room. "Why won't you go inside?" He asked, sitting beside him.
"Mark-hyung hates me, Taeyong-hyung..." Jaemin answered with a faint smile.
He's obviously hurt on how Mark treated him. Plus the fact that he's blaming himself for what happened to Haejin.
"He doesn't." Taeyong said, smiling at him. "You know Mark. Maybe he was just sad about the fact that Haejin is here in the hospital once again."
Jaemin sighed, "Hyung, even Jisung doesn't want to talk to me." He looked down.
"They won't let me explain, hyung."
"They will, Jaemin-ah."
