This is the second part to "The Sniper" and is Negan's view of what happened next. Hope you enjoy.
Negan couldn't help but stare at the woman that was sat in the truck with his men, he saw no sign of emotion on her face, but she seemed strangely calm as she resigned herself to her fate. She clutched her rifle tightly to her chest as if it was the most important thing in the world, and Negan mussed that it and the few meagre possessions that she had in her pack, were probably the only things she had left of her old life, a life that she seemed obviously proud of as she stroked the dog tags that still hung around her neck.
"So sweetheart, what do they call you?" Negan asked, breaking the tension that had formed within the cab of the truck.
"My colleagues called me Sarge, but my friends call me Bullseye, but as you are neither, you can call me (Y/n)." She said, not turning her head from her view of the empty open road ahead of them.
Negan couldn't help but silently chuckle to himself, it was strangely refreshing for someone to have the balls to talk to him in such a way, no one in the Sanctuary would even contemplate it, and if anyone else tried it then Lucille would be claiming another victim. This woman though had him intrigued, even more so since she had threatened to kill Rick, and even more so since she actually looked like she meant it.
"How long were you in the service?" Negan asked, trying to coax the woman out of her silent stupor.
"Look boss, if this is your version of 20 questions, lets cut to the chase!" (Y/n) said, glaring at him.
"I was in the Marines for 10 years before the shit hit the fan; I have been in countless incursions with all manner of enemies, I've been stuck behind enemy lines and even captured and tortured. I have over 100 confirmed kills, but I assure you I have killed a lot more; I can shoot the dick off a gnat at nearly three thousand meters, and I really love my job. I don't take shit from anyone, and if anybody touches me or baby, without my express permission, I will slit their throats. So if that's everything, if you don't mind, I would like to enjoy the ride in peace." She turned back her attention to the open road, watching as the trees and abandoned cars passed by.
Negan couldn't help but notice the look from Simon, as his right hand man expected him to do something about the woman next to him; but instead of Negan growing angry and demanding the respect he would demand from anyone else, he simply smiled and turned to look out of the window.

As the days turned into weeks, (Y/n) had proved that she was more than worth what she had cost Negan; she had shown that she was still the perfect soldier, doing everything that he had required of her and more. He had given her, her own room when she arrived at the Sanctuary that was not far from his, he was determined that he would keep and eye on his new, deadly acquisition, his protectiveness of her growing steadily as his desire for her grew.
Negan's attitude towards (Y/n) had not gone unnoticed by many of his men, it was becoming obvious that his feelings for the female sniper were more than just platonic, and when she threatened to kill at least three of Negan's "wives" and had gone unpunished, even after protests from the women in question, then even a blind man could see what Negan wanted.
Negan had called for the sniper to come to his room, the last run had ended in one of his men being lost, and (Y/n) nearly being bitten, this made Negan all the more determined to have her for himself. The thought of losing (Y/n) had ripped his guts out, as he finally realised the extent to how much he cared about her. It wasn't like how he felt for his wives, this was different; what he had with the other woman wasn't real, none of them truly cared about him, they were all there to get a better role within the Sanctuary or because of coercion, but (Y/n) was different; even though the relationship had begun with him more or less buying her from Rick, the two had become strange friends, and he found himself spending more and more time with her as the weeks had gone by, and now it felt that the two had known each other for years.
As he changed, he heard a knock at his door.
"Come." He shouted out as (Y/n) came through the door.
"Oh Geez boss, you could have warned me, for god sake put some clothes on will ya." (Y/n) said, as she turned around to look away from Negan's semi naked form.
Negan chuckled. "Oh come on, ya not telling me that you are some kinda prude (Y/n)?"
"I'm no prude, its just if you don't put some clothes on, I might just have to jump on you." She said with a laugh, only stopping when she realised what she had just said; if she could have shot herself with her own rifle than and there she would have done. Scrunching up her eyes, and mentally slapping herself for her own stupidity she could only stand there and hope that Negan hadn't heard her.
A huge smile grew on Negan's face as he moved to stand behind her, after all the weeks of sarcastic comments and dismissing any remark that he ever made about the two of them being together, she had finally said something that proved to him she was as interested in him as he was in her.
"Do you know how long its been since I even looked at one of my wives?" Negan asked her, his warm breath fanning her neck.
"Boss, I really don't want to know about your sex life if ya don't mind." (Y/n) said, as she tried to move away from him, only to find herself caught in his arms.
"I haven't even looked at one of them since you set foot in here (Y/n), none of them even come close to you. You can't deny me any longer, I nearly lost you today and I wont ever let that happen again. How long is it since you've felt like a woman instead of a soldier? How long is it since you've been touched by a man? How long since you've felt any kind of love (Y/n)?" Negan asked, as his lips caressed her neck, his arms pulling her back into his naked chest.
There was part of him expecting her to protest, to turn around, slap him in the face and then walk out of his room; instead she gripped tightly to his arms that were wrapped around her waist, her gentle moans encouraging him to move one of his hands to between her thighs, as he felt her tremble under his touch.
"I know that this is probably the worst decision that I will ever make in my life, but I can't carry on living knowing that I might be taken any minute by some walker and not know what it is to feel human again, to know what it feels like to be close to a man again. For god's sake Negan, take me, make me feel something other than death, just don't make me regret it, please." She told him as he picked her up and walked over to the bed. It didn't matter how much time either of them had left, as long as Negan had her by his side, he would face the uncertain future head on.
