Chapter 7: "Just a memory from the past"
Soobin was lost in his thoughts. He can't even remember what happened in the auditorium. The last thing he remembered was, he was dragged by Yeonjun from a place that made his heart go dug-dug.
The boys walked together. But Yeonjun was missing. Where did hyung go?
"I can't believe it." Kai said, overreacting.
Taehyun rolled his eyes, which he always does. He wondered why is he friends with a bunch of gay--crackheads.
"Maybe she's ugly!" Beomgyu added.
Taehyun let out a sigh. "She's anonymous, but she did a lot of things. That's why I wasn't shocked when they announced her as the new principal."
Soobin was out of place. How can't he? He was busy thinking about Yeonjun and the set-up.
"Hyung, what about you? What do you think?" Beomgyu asked him.
Soobin looked at them. "Why? Think about what?"
"The new principal?!" Beomgyu exaggerated.
He stopped. "What? We have a new principal?!"
The three slapped their foreheads.
"Where did your brain go?" Taehyun asked.
Soobin pointed his head. "Still here."
"Why are you not listening?" Said Kai.
"Because I did not."
"You're thinking of Yeonjun-hyung."
"Yes, I am--wait, no!" Soobin denied.
Beomgyu pointed him. "See?!"
"Gyu, you're really cute. So cute that I want to throw you to mars." Soobin seriously said. He really is thinking about Yeonjun.
Kai clapped once. "Yeah, where is Yeonjun-hyung?"
They all looked at Beomgyu who only shrugged his shoulders. After they got out of the university gates, Soobin stopped. "Hey guys, Imma just go find hyung."
He ran inside without the permission of others.
Where would Yeonjun go? Hmm, maybe in the library? Soobin checked the whole library but the hyung wasn't there.
He tried to find Yeonjun in places that he would possibly go. But, there's a place that he didn't checked out yet.
Right! The place where he went to earlier!
He slowly walked in the dark hallway, and he made sure that his footsteps wouldn't be heard.
"But it was a fail."
Was that Yeonjun?
Soobin took a look but failed. If he continued to peek, he might have been seen by Yeonjun and his colleague.
"Nice try, dude." The person commented.
"I know, but, I don't think he saw what I did." Soobin surely can't see what's happening in here, but hearing his hyung's voice, he sounded like pouting.
"That's fine. There's a lot of next time. Just make sure you're going to succeed."
"I'll try."
Soobin wanted to go and not listen but a part of him is saying that he'll stay and listen. Damn his mind!
"Oh, you remember her?"
Yeonjun chuckled. "Of course I do. How can I forget her? She's unforgettable."
The tall bunny felt a pang in his heart. Why did he need to feel this? Why? Why can't Yeonjun forget her? Then why did Yeonjun try to confess?
Damn, Soobin. Stop being delusional. He never said he liked you.
Soobin gulped. He still listened despite the pain he felt from what he heard.
"I heard she came back. Any plans?"
Yeonjun clicked his tongue. "Dunno."
The voice chuckled. "Stop it, man! You like her, aye?"
"Psh! Yes.."
Soobin bit his lip. "T-this h-hurts."
And with that, he left with a tear in his eye.
...
A while ago...
"Shit, I failed." Yeonjun cursed to himself.
He entered the auditorium holding Soobin's hands. Why did the freaking universe stopped his confession?! Like, what the hell?! He had the guts. But now he needs to go back at square one.
After the announcement, which he didn't care about, he left the auditorium not waiting for his friends.
He saw Changbin alone and he dragged him in the place where he was about to confess to Soobin.
"Choi Yeonjun, what the hell?!"
Yeonjun sat in the chair. "Yep, what the hell."
Changbin looked around. "Whoa. What in the world is this." He reached a picture that was hanged up in the ceiling. "Man, why am I here?"
He sat beside Yeonjun who looked like he got to volunteer for weekend-cleanings.
Changbin let Yeonjun speak first. And after a couple of minutes, "I failed man!"
"I can see that. But this is wonderful, though. Maybe I'll do this for Felix." He smirked.
Yeonjun punched his arm. "You pig! This is not about you're cheesiness."
He only chuckled in return.
"If it weren't for the principal, I'd still continue my confession." He said and crossed his arms.
"But seriously though, it looks nice."
Yeonjun sighed. "But it was a fail."
"Nice try, dude."
"I know, but, I don't think he saw what I did." He played with his fingers.
Chanbin tapped Yeonjun's shoulder. "That's fine. There's a lot of next time. Just make sure you're going to succeed."
Yeonjun shrugged his shoulders. "I'll try."
"Oh, you remember her?" Changbin asked.
He chuckled and remembered the girl they were talking about. "Of course I do. How can I forget her? She's unforgettable."
Yeonjun knew how silly that girl was. Too bad, she crossed a line.
"I heard she came back. Any plans?"
Yeonjun clicked his tongue. "Dunno."
He seriously didn't like to face the girl. Who knows that she still has a problem?
Changbin hit his arm while chuckling. "Stop it, man! You like her, aye?"
Yeonjun rolled his eyes. "Psh! Yes.."
The other man's face was shocked. "Y-you still like her?!"
He laughed. "Of course not! That was 5 years ago. Soobin is the only one in here." He pointed his chest.
Changbin exhaled. "Whoo! I thought you still had lingering feelings for that woman. She's pretty obsessed."
"I won't. And yeah, she's obssessed."

As soon as Yeonjun got home, he chatted his friends and apologized about him, left them hanging. Well, he's sorry, alright.
He's kind of shy to Soobin amd guilty for som unknown reason. He doesn't know what to do or what to say when he faces Soobin.
