I have a deep love for Edgar Allan Poe (from bsd and the real one) and I decided, since I think of short stories with him in them ALL THE TIME I might as well share them, right?

Poe, seeing how his writing has become 'dry', to his standard, he drives himself insane. Please, please, PLEASE, give me feedback. Even if it's harsh I really want to get better at being a writer. This is unfinished and I don't know if I should continue. This is my first story and I'm pretty nervous 😖

Poe had feelings for Ranpo, but he never admitted them. he was scared to admit he had feelings for him, afraid Ranpo would reject him and leave him. He didn't want his own feelings to ruin their friendship. so then he hid them, he hid his own feelings, locking them up into a bottle and throwing the key away. But what Poe feared most came true. Ranpo never liked him the way Poe did, he saw him as a friend. A friend who's a detective.
