Cody Matthews, an ex-criminal working at Cox Janitorial Company, goes with a rescue team to retrieve Weston's group from Bayside Suburbs. As they approach the Cox Residence's front yard, Audrey's hidden bombs blows up an engine, crashing it and the team. Gladly, Cody, Shawn Fitzgerald, a war veteran, and Maxim survive the aftermath. They must rally the missing teammates, go to the front yard's only tent, and reactivate the teleportation tunnels. All while fighting mutated insects, both old and new.
