Eight years ago was when my life changed. Eight years ago was when a little boy named Noah moved next door. Eight years ago, was when I fell in love.
Noah and I became best friends as soon as his last box was unloaded, a time when the socialites of high school did not bog us down. Now being a sophomore in high school, and me being me, I haven鈥檛 exactly told Noah how I鈥檝e felt...yet. I know, I know, I鈥檓 totally pathetic and I鈥檝e let the entire female population down by not standing up for what I love, or in this case, who I love. But on the bright side, our friendship is as strong as ever, and I can talk to him about basically anything, which is good. At least, I think it is.
From one person to another though, let me give you some friendly advice. If you really love something, don't just sit back on your ass and get fat, go out there and fight for it! Because as someone who has fell victim to the awful distraction of what our current generation calls a television, I know what it's like to miss out on an opportunity. Being trapped in the "friend zone" sure does suck.
(*Sorry I'm really bad at summaries, but trust me you won't regret reading this!!!)
"Because you're smart and I know you wouldn't tell anyone." He gulped. No, he knew because I didn't have anyone to tell.
"What's in it for me?" I ask. He thinks for a second. Did he think I would just agree to this?
"I can make you popular." He suggests. I chuckle and shake my head. I don't want any attention.
"We can act like we are dating?" He suggests again and I laugh so hard.
"What's so funny? You don't want to date me?" He looks hurt.

Noah Knox
Noah. He plays Quarterback on the football team, he's smoking hot, and has a lot of friends. No one says no to him. He has everything anyone could ask for. What else could he want? Well, he wants Abby, that's for sure. But he can't have her.
Abby Shed
Abby. She is quite, shy, and has really bad anxiety. Wears glasses and baggy clothes to school everyday because she's insecure. She is known for having panic attacks in class. No one ever talks to her and she has no friends. On her Saturday she likes to read and watch TV with her grandpa and brother. The last thing she expects is for someone to like her.
~
Noah always bullied her for her looks, taste, personality. But one day he just stopped. He always liked Abby but he didn't know how to ask her out or be nice to her. He was taught if you love someone you treat them badly. But he needed help and he only knows one person to ask, Abby. Will she say yes? Will this turn into something more?
