Chapter 2
Hey guys! I'm sorry about the late update and the weird spacing! When I copied this chapter into 抖阴社区 from Word, it totally screwed up all the spacing...I would change it now, but I'm in a rush!! Please comment and vote if you like! Or even if you don't... :)
Chapter 2
Walking to lunch through a hallway of cliché high school students is not so simple when there’s a bunch of people everywhere acting as roadblocks. Apparently, Iz shares my same sentiments as she turns towards me with a scowl on her face.
“Ugh! I swear to god, people to need to learn that the hallway is for walking and not for sitting and catching up with friends, or,” she continues as her scowl turns into a grimace,” for making out! Gross, that my friend, is first class yuck right there.” She says this as she nods to the couple heavily making out against the lockers.
“Oh please, that’s exactly what you’re wishing you and Will were doing right now! And don’t try and deny it, the blush on your face gives it all away!
“Pshh yeah right! Like I would ever like someone like Will!”
“You do realize that I’m your best friend, so I know when you’re lying, right? Plus, you’re an awful liar and I’m pretty sure a baby could figure out how you feel about Will with the way you drool as soon as he walks into a room.”
Her hands quickly rise to check her mouth, “Oh my god, I do not drool when he walks into the room. The saliva you see leaving my mouth is a defense mechanism my body has when it sees man whores entering the room, anyone could tell you that!
“Uh huh, and what exactly does that saliva defend?” I asked her
“Well, you see, sometimes, uh, um, oh my god is that a bird? Wow, I didn’t know we had those here!”
“Really, Isabel? A bird? Is that the best you could do?”
“Hey, when you put me on the spot like that there is a lot of pressure on me. Jeez, women these days! Just so temperamental…”
“Okay Miss in-love-with-Will-but-doesn’t-want-to-admit-it-so-fakes-a-distraction-by-pointing-out-a-bird lets go get some lunch. I think my stomach is about to eat itself!”

“Wow! I didn’t realize that when the lunch lady said food, she actually meant poison!” Iz exclaimed.
Of course, I was too busy staring at Noah to actually pay attention to what she was saying. Oh man, did Noah look scrum-dilyicious or what! God I could just bake some cookies on face!
“Em? Emma? Earth to Emma!”
Wow, I can’t believe someone could look that good at all times of the day. He looks especially good when he laughs or smiles or talks or cries or…well I think I made my point.
“So yesterday I went to the doctors and got wings implanted into my back. Then after that another doctor ran some tests and found out that I’m a wizard!” Iz said in the background.
I just wish I had the courage to go right up to him and smack a big ass kiss on his lips! Just once I wish I had the confidence to walk up to him, say I love you, and hope for the best. Sadly sometimes life just doesn’t work that way. Especially when your confidence level is like, zilch.
“Yeah it was pretty exciting. Later we went to Diagon alley so I could find my wand and get my books for Hogwarts. Yeah, you heard me right; I’m officially a wizard in training! Well half wizard, half angel in training…”
