Word has been released that monsters now roamed the surface, and you can't help but feel slightly skeptical. You had been told since childhood that monsters were vile and repulsive creatures who wanted nothing more but human blood pouring from the palm of their hand. You didn't know what to think of the monster race, but majority of the human race did. The tension between monsters and human kind was sickening. People had told you to stay away from monsters at all costs. But that'll be a bit difficult when two skeleton brothers move in next door to you. And why bother lying? You can't deny that one of them has stuck on your mind. (Warning. There's a lot of colourful language, so just a heads up. And also, the artwork doesn't belong to me. Credits to the rightful owner.)

Y/N was the eldest of the royal family. Her life was great. She was turning 16, the age where she'll be able to help her parents with royal duties, and get more privileges, when her younger sister, Frisk, goes missing. Y/N's life falls apart, while her mother heartbroken, and her father started to ignore her. Not having a great life, she decides to run away, learning about the hard life of being a citizen. Having to live on the complete opposite side with poverty, she learns she has to hide, and everyone isn't what they seem. Not even her. What if there was an anomaly in the Underground? No, not Frisk. Not Chara either. Someone else entirely. How could a few measly children stand to this supposedly immortal foe and save the Underground from destruction? Is it even possible to do so? That means no Soriel, Papyton, etc. The only ships are Torgore (in the past) and Alphyne. •This is NOT an x reader. I heavily dislike those types of stories. The reader will have no part in this. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. Hey guys! Welcome to my very first story called OVERTALE. It's a story about Frisk and the gang once they reach the surface, so if you haven't played the game this story will make no sense. (Complete) Monsters may be free, but there is a high price to pay for the one that freed them. Deciding Frisk is better off being a mystery, the monsters leave it alone for 14 years. Until Frisk is discovered. Undyne and Sans try to reach her in time, but she is left with a fatal wound. With even boss monsters unable to heal her, Sans heals her the only way left. However, that was part of Gaster's plan . . . but Flowey was not. The result is wedding bells ringing twice for Frisk. Once to Asriel . . . and once to Sans? *Frisk and Sans eventually.

Soon after that, Chara joins a new family, but their ambition to keep everyone happy goes a little overboard and Chara is flung into a reality of destruction and hopeless wonder. Then many long years later they meet the beloved Frisk, who fell into the Underground, similar to themselves. (I DON'T OWN UNDERTALE. The only characters I own are Bailey and Creame.) All the monsters live happily in the underground: until one human ruins everything. Bailey Hill is a normal, 11 year old girl- until she trips, and falls into Mt.Ebott. Quick to befriend the monsters, Bailey is instantly loved by everyone. When monsters start mysteriously disappearing, Bailey is on the case. What she doesn't know, though, is that a small team, co-led by Undyne and Sans, are working as secret spies in the background. After hearing about the disappearances, Bailey thinks she can solve the mystery- but when Bailey has a shocking realization, she realizes that she might not be so innocent after all. ------------------------------------------- Changes: IMPORTANT: Frisk and Chara don't and never exist(ed) Monsters don't mind the underground, so Alphys never did the experiments.
