Evan Hansen was always nervous, and wouldn't stop freaking out over the smallest things. When these two characters lives collide, literally, how will their company change the other? Can each character save themselves and the other? Note: This is an AU, in the musical version Connor is not good friends with Evan while in this version he is (due to the events that transpired in this fanfiction), so while I ship treebros in the AU context this is not the original musical, you can make your own opinion after watching the original. 【Completed】 This is a fanfiction of Evan and Connor from Dear Evan Hansen. Treebros, correct? Connor Murphy starts to hang out with Evan Hansen. He was mostly intrigued by his existence. How he never managed to notice someone so nice and yet so broken before piqued his interest. He wanted to be friends with him. Maybe more? What happens when a music theatre lover somehow gets transported into the world of her recent obsession, Dear Evan Hansen? **Main character is a 16-year-old girl with social anxiety disorder who loves DEH, but pretty much everything else is left vague.

Evan would update his blog daily, talking about any struggles and successes, doing it for himself as a way to vent his emotions. It never occurred to him that anyone else would be reading it, and that they were feeling the same way as him.

A Treebros fanfic (yay)! I'll put trigger warnings at the start of a chapter. Also, this might include swearing. When Connor Murphy stops Evan Hansen from jumping out of a tree, everything changes.

Evan Hansen is an introverted teenager with severe social anxiety. His mother, in attempt to get Evan out of his shell and into the world, pushes him to sign up for a theatre class. After some arguing and relentless begging, Evan reluctantly agrees, only wanting to make his mom happy. Connor Murphy, facing depression, drug addiction, and an increasingly deteriorating relationship with his family, finds joy only in weed and acting. He'd been attending the same class for three years, the only place he felt at peace. On Evan's first day, he notices everyone else already had their own groups of friends, no one was alone, except him. Well, him and the boy with the long hair and black hoodie who was intimidatingly brooding in the corner. Connor is not the most welcoming, in fact he's far from it. Though, eventually he begins to tolerate Evan's presence, and soon goes from tolerating it to enjoying it. When Evan miraculously gets cast as the lead role in a show the class is performing, Connor takes it upon himself to help Evan step into the spotlight.
