The Light and Dark Mind Palaces don't talk with each other. They have no reason to. Until a message appears from The Dark Mind Palace. Patton sees it, his curiosity getting the better of him. He starts replying to the message more and more until he realizes, the side he's talking to is in danger! This has been playing out in my head for a while, so I thought 'why not make it an actual story?' And so I did. It's mostly Prinxiety with some Logicality mixed in. :3 Virgil, Patton, and Logan are starting their 8th grade year. Roman has just moved back to the neighborhood and Virgil is both thrilled and nervous. Why? Because Virgil has had a crush on Roman for three years and his homophobic parents will do anything to keep them apart. -Virgil, Roman, Patton, and Logan are all characters that belong to Thomas Sanders, not me-

"What is up everybody?" Another video, another dilemma. But today Thomas has a little trouble starting up. Now with everything out of place, what can they do to set things right again? Roman will not get left behind... Have you ever just thought up a random plot for Sanders Sides a long time ago and wanted to type it up but it didn't fit your normal writing style so you put it off until one day you actually start? Then a week later you've written over an hour's worth of a script and are low-key proud of it? It's not just me, right? This is a silly story taking place in the episode after Putting Others First. At the time of writing this, the newest episode has not been released.

"What are you doing out here, by yourself? You're going to get sick." He took off his jacket and put it over my shoulders. "Hey, hey. Everything is going to be alright, you don't have to cry anymore, I'm right here to protect you." Logan pulled me into another hug, and I was so glad he did because I really needed it. "Do you need me to take you home?" He asked me. I quickly shook my head no. "N-no, can we go to your place?" I asked trying to keep my voice from cracking. "But your parents don't like having you out of the house..." Logan took a moment to look me up and down. The tears on my face, the bags that were by my feet, the sudden phone call at midnight. "Patton, were you kicked out?" he asked, I slowly shook my head. "Are you trying to run away?" He asked again, this time I slowly nodded. He sighed and opened his car door. "I can't just leave you all alone. I know how your family is, you can stay with me for awhile and everything will be fine." He buckled my seatbelt for me took m bags and put them in the trunk, and then came back to kiss my forehead. "I promise."

Logan Croft is a normal guy. He's number two at his company in Florida, selling paper. He has the most clients out of everyone in the office. So, when he hears that his branch his being downsized, he can't be fired, right? But when life throws unexpected turns at you, sometimes your only choice is to move. Get away. So that's what Logan does, and that's how Logan ends up at his childhood town in Montana. Patton Foster has lived in Montana for his entire life. He remembers being happy, a long time ago, in elementary school. But when he got to middle school, his best friend abandoned him. He's doing pretty good now, though. He's got friends, his own little bakery, and an adorable corgi dog named Muffins. But when he sees his previous best friend, the same one that abandoned him in middle school, his life changed.. whether that was for better, or for worse. Will they end up living out their lives, together, happy? 'Looking for quiet roommate.' 'Located in quiet area.' 'Apartment has previously received noise complaints.' Virgil groaned and tossed his phone onto his bed, burying his face in his hands. He just needed an apartment that would be okay with his job. Trying to keep to his price range and find what he needed was proving to be so much harder than he thought it would. This would be his first time moving somewhere that he didn't know the owners of the place beforehand. "Welcome to YouTube life, idiot." Virgil grumbled to himself. He picked up his phone again, going to close out of the app he was using, but suddenly a line on one that he hadn't looked at caught his eye. 'Must be willing to allow for eccentric work ethics and schedules, as owner of the apartment works independently online.' Virgil tapped on the listing and began to read. 'Four bedroom apartment, looking for up to three roommates. Apartments beneath and above are both empty at the moment, noise is not a problem so long as residents are courteous. Preferred that applicants are male.' Virgil stared at the listing. This was so... so perfect. He closed the app and tapped his messenger app. 'Hey Pat, I think I found something.' Disclaimer: I just reread A Lesson in Practicality by @residentanchor, so there might be some things ever so slightly similar to that, but if there are I am not doing it on purpose and I apologize. Through the reveal of Remus, things between the sides have changed. Logan's advice to Thomas has been taken up by Virgil, talking to Patton and learning to grow as a side. All seemed to be going smoothly until Remus tells Roman something not so true ,and with a new dilemma facing Thomas, the sides are busting out the seems of their foundation to try and keep things together. But with a fallout between the repressed and furious feelings eating away at Virgil and Roman, a past that had never seen the light of day, and the wrath of the dark sides ready to break all that was built, the sides have to figure out a way to save all that they have. - #3 on #sanderssides 10-15-19 - I recently got into Sanders Sides and I needed to write a story with Virgil's past ASAP, I hope you enjoy it!

Despite being abandoned at an orphanage when he was just a few hours old with nothing more than a necklace and a name, Virgil was happy. He had a good life where he felt accepted and didn't need anything else. However, when tragedy strikes on his seventeenth birthday Virgil becomes a shell of his former self. In an attempt to help Virgil, the orphanage transferred him to a different school. Weird things start happening to Virgil that he just can't explain and when three new people start to push their way into his life, Virgil finds himself in a very hairy situation. Can Virgil keep his walls up, or will they be torn down right before his eyes? And for the love of Crofter's why does he feel so weird when he is around the apparent leader of the trio?
