Two years have past since the war and Katniss' life is still in ruins. With the realisation of having fake feelings towards Peeta she's missed Gale more than ever. Katniss is homeless. Ever since her family has died, she has struggled to find a job and a way to get money. She doesn't even have relatives. One of her family's old friends, Haymitch, also happens to be a principal at the public school in district twelve. He said he can enroll her for free. Katniss accepts. This way, she can get at least a meal a day, and learn some survival skills. She has never been good at making friends, so she just kind of puts her head down and doesn't talk to anyone. It's clear she's depressed. There's only one person that can cure her. It's one day that Peeta Mellark, the most popular guy at school decides to uncover the mystery named Katniss Everdeen, and changes her life forever. He has a older brother Rye who is married and has kids then his older brother Challah who is his un-identical twin. Katniss Everdeen. She's not what you call normal. She lives with her aunt and uncle and cousins. People just look at her. She never gets bullied but no one talks to her. No one knows what happened to her family. She has no sisters or brothers or parents. All people know is that she always wears flower crowns. What happens when the schools popular starts to get curious? What will happen later on?

Katniss Everdeen lives in the country with her little twin sister Clove, her other little sister Primrose and her parents, her whole life it's been working on a farm, she is the one who's heart is hard to win over but for some reason Peeta wriggles his way in Want to know how? She has a relationship with Gale Hawthorne, he lives in District 12 too. Peeta Mellark is a normal sixteen year old boy. He moves from another District to District 12 with his family of parents and two other brothers. His family owned a bakery in their previous living place and are starting a new bakery in District 12. Will Katniss stay with Gale, or does she like Peeta more? And what happens with their friend?

5 years after the rebellion, Katniss and Peeta are together and living in district 12. They are both happy although Peeta still has flashbacks and Katniss still blames herself for Prims death. Their relationship will have ups and downs but this is mainly for Everlark shippers, so if your team Gale this book probably isn't for you!
