This story is set during the events of Detroit: Become Human because I'm really bad at one shots. This is a Connor/reader. M/F. Censored swearing. This is my first uploaded story so please be nice because I'm terrified. Constructive criticism welcomed.

Moving to Detroit had been good for Frankie. She'd managed to get her dream job, working with a partner who had been an idol of hers since she'd first heard his name whispered in the hallways... even if it had been laced with pity for a loss no parent should ever have to live with. A man who more often than not finds himself trying to pull her back from recklessness and encouraging her to think a little more before rushing into things. The only thing that had really taken some getting used to was the sheer amount of androids; the fact that despite how human they looked, some people could treat them with such disrespect, was a baffling thing for her. Soon, however, she finds herself working with an android: Connor. As the cases pile up and Frankie tries to combat the hostility that Hank throws Connor's way, things in the wider world appear to be getting worse. An android uprising seems to be on the horizon, and Frankie needs to figure out where exactly she stands as battle lines are drawn up. Are androids another form of intelligent life - as Oskar's group chats seem to be arguing - or are they simply machines with errant code that need to be shut down to protect people?

Androids are gonna have a party for gaining their freedom. It's only just been a year & a half, some humans accepted the Androids' peaceful protest, but some were still not accepting them. Markus, Connor, & Kara, the three main androids, are gonna come together in the party, but little did they know. . .humans were planning something. Can they avoid the danger coming & maintain being peaceful, or will they fight back? This story takes place after a year & a half of the Pacifist Ending in the game, Detroit Become Human. The the year 2038 everything seemed to finally be looking up for the recently torn city of Detroit, not for young (name) who couldn't speak since an accident at age six left her mute. Being mute had a lot of disadvantages, the biggest being that most humans couldn't understand sign language at her workplace in the Stratford tower, so the only friends she really had were androids. An RX800 android, Brent being her best friend Then, after a supposed terrorist bombing at the Stratford tower, she is thrown into a police investigation head first, the only person with she could really communicate was an RK800 android named Connor. Throughout the investigation, however, (name) grows a strong attachment to Connor, with him treating her like an actual equal than a strange foreigner. Though how could she be sure he wasn't just programmed to be a gentleman. After all it was just one of his features. Ranks: #1 I 'connorxreader' 6/7/19

--- Updates on Mondays --- The Detroit police department in 2039 is a strange place. Outbreaks of Deviancy within the everyday android are turning this town rampant; and is turning the police department into a war zone. A hard-boiled eccentric police lieutenant, and his android, RK800 companion are no longer able to keep up with the cases by themselves, and request an additional partner. Everyone in the police department are already over loaded, so CyberLife creates a in-the-works android, developed by Elijah Kamski to investigate, analyze, and problem solve. And it's name is "Sean." A 16 -13 -1. Hank and Connor greet their partner with stress, and demands of perfection. Due to Sean being a project started by Kamski, there are somethings that set him apart from the normal android. There are multiple parts to his "mind" that come to serve his partners. Sean's primary directive is to serve, and assist these two in their investigations, but something deep inside of him has other plans. As Sean breaks from what he was made to do, he has to really find out what he is made of, and what he is going to do with it. ----- DISCLAMER: I highly recommend watching, or playing Detroit: Become Human before reading. Her parents murdered by their android who turned deviant, wanting to feel the thrill of the kill. She ran to Uncle Hank's house for help, and he immediately called the police. Her uncle tried to be there for her, being that he was a detective and awkward, and he would always be by her side when she would have a nightmare. 3 years later with the arrival of Cole, Skye was intrigued about the child and instantly grew a liking to him, seeing him as the little brother she could never have. He helped her through her PTSD and eased her nightmares. For once both she and Hank thought Skye could finally live normally again. But, when Cole passed away because of the careless act of a high surgeon and an android surgeon, she snapped. She screamed and cried, she developed a bi-polar disorder and a rude, aggressive, and solitary attitude. Hank made no move to scold her for her actions because he was the same way, the only comfort they had was their dog, Sumo, and alcohol. That is until an android entered their lives - RK800. He became Hank's new partner in the investigation on deviants. Skye was nothing but cold and rude to the docile and innocent android, but no matter how angered she would get when he spoke to her, or how restricted and quiet she would act around him, her introverted personality only drew Connor in, despite her pushing him away. He wanted to know more about her, about her personality and what caused it - and he was determined to stick around long enough to find out.

This is a story of two unlikely lovers. Connor Anderson, an RK800 android, who lives with with a grumpy police Lieutenant and still adapting to life with emotions. And Chloe, a runaway android who just wants to be free and discover who she is. When these two met, their lives were ultimately changed...for better or for worse.
