After the death of someone truly important to him, Gerard is left lonely and depressed, wondering whether or not it's worth it to keep living. It's been more than three years since their breakup. It was supposed to be the right decision and the best for all the members of My Chemical Romance although they were conscious of all the pain they would inevitably cause to thousands of people. The lands has been changed to sand and colorless, the population has been cut down almost to zero but what was left adapted to their new world. He didn't plan on saving someone that day but he did. He's been on his own for years, until one day he stumbles upon another injured survivor, Frank, who was left for dead by his group. Gerard realizes he isn't alone and gains a companion. They grow a bond which makes them inseparable and they would risk everything for each other. The bond does turn into something more and flames up hope. Well, they're the only two of a couple of survivors. What do they have to lose, except each other in the process of trying to survive?

Gerard was in town to visit his brother Mikey like any normal good brother would do, but things turn out to be a bit complicated when he 'accidentally' kills his brother's friend, and it gets even more complicated when that friend doesn't stay dead for long. Things seem complex now but it gets even worse when Gerard is haunted down by a bitter ex boyfriend and a powerful demon, how will he manage to survive all that? And could his not-so-dead victim be his end or salvation? Tbfh I suck at description but I do encourage reading this, it's kinda promising when you get into it... well, I sure hope so. Frank's parents died over a year ago which has caused him to spiral into a big heat of depression. He's angry, tired, and doesn't care. Gerard is tired of seeing his friend like this, so he hires him an at-home therapist. She's happy, sweet, and very optimistic. It's basically an odd couple situation. ~no I am not romanticizing depression, I am trying very hard not to do that, Frank just happens to be depressed, she won't be "curing him" with kisses or whatever, that's unrealistic, she's there to help him through this :) With that being said, if any of you guys need someone to talk to, I'm here. Gerard way and Frank Iero have always passed each other in the hallway but never spoke a word to one another. They are both alike in many ways. Both loners who feel like they don't quite belong. Frank mostly spends his days depressed and alone. The occasional hurtful remarks from his fellow classmates and father wearing him down. Frank's family issues seem to swallow him hole which is mainly why he feels like throwing in the towel... permanently. Gerard lives to protect those he cares about. Though, he has a bit of an edgy attitude most people learn to respect. There's more to Gerard than what the outside shows. His brother Mikey and best friend Ray know glimpses of how he really feels, and how complications from the past really fuck with his behavior. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide.
