Daryl is not thrilled about this new assignment but is willing to try to make it work for Rick's sake. His first day on duty, Daryl meets one of Negan's "wives" to be, who was left behind, Hazel. Hazel was being abused and starved in one of the same cells that Daryl had while held captive in the Sanctuary. They discover they have a lot more in common than they realized. Though their plan changed slightly when they stumbled upon the group of people that just lost a little girl in the woods and two Winchesrters decided to stick around for a few days to help with the search. Because that's what they do, save people. But only for a few days then they will go off again to find Sammy. Or as they thought. Because strangers become friends and as Lowell well knew; family doesn't end on blood, but it doesn't start there either, and one particular redneck is about to prove him that.

A few months later the world ended and the dead started walking and eating people. The world collapsed and it was survival of the fittest. Her brothers best friend saves her, her nephew and her brothers wife. Thinking the city was going to be safe only to shocked when they bomb it and the dead take over. Now In a small group outside of the city at an old quarry trying to survive the best they can. She meets a lot of new people but one particular man catches her eye. He's rugged, muscular, tall, attractive, know how to survive. Only problem is he seems to hate her. He avoids her at all cost and when they do come in contact he's harsh with her.
