It's been 4 years since Three saw Eight, and she's getting pretty depressed by that. The fact that the team just recovered from the "Fuzzy goo invasion", and being promoted to captain, isn't really helping much with the captain's personal problems. But when Eight seems to go missing, and there are reports of an invasion where she lives, Captain Three starts getting worried. DISCLAIMER: I have not played the latest splatoon game yet, so NO SPOILERS PLZ. Everything here that relates to the game is pure speculation from the trailer. This book will be the new home for the original chapter 4. Obviously this is no longer canon to the main story, but I felt it still deserved recognition as it helped me become a better writer.
