Luz must face a dramatic change in her life, being a werewolf. With this she must learn to control the curse before it controls her. The Boiling Isles. It wasn't as peaceful as it sounds. It was a land full of judgemental witches/demons. Living there was challenging for Luz since she, as a human, didn't belong there. As she navigates the challenges of fitting in among talented witches, Luz finds herself struggling with her place in a world of magic she's only just beginning to understand. Still, there's something about her that sparks both frustration and curiosity. On top of that, everything goes South when a mysterious figure decides to mess with Luz. When Amity was forced to cut ties with Willow and was sent away for four years of High School. In the meantime, Luz stumbled into the Demon Realm making it her new home. When the Blight Industries Heiress returned to Bonesborough to continue her education at the Hexside Academy she was surprised to learn a human was living in the Demon Realm. A human who apparently became her childhood best friend's best friend. In the most unforeseen circumstances, she befriended the human who promised to help her break free from Odalia's abuse and control. The updated, error-free version is on AO3.

Luz Noceda was a troublemaker for sure. The Hispanic girl always got into fights with people over stupid things. It didn't help that she was failing all her classes except Physical Education. The girl was on her way to the principal's office to find out her punishment for getting involved in another fight when something crazy happened. Luz was going to be sent to another school! Not only was this school a boarding school, but it was also Hexside the most famous school in Connecticut. Luz tries to convince her mom to opt out of it, but her mom agrees with the principal's decision. Luz is forced to pack and leave two days before the second semester and live with her Mom's friend, Eda. On the way, she meets a few people and a minty-haired devil standing before her eyes. She finds herself intrigued by the girl and tries to get closer to her. Will Luz find friends and adjust to her new life at Hexside? Will she get close to the minty-haired girl? A new student comes and joins the students of Hexside. Top student, Amity Blight, one day encounters them sleeping at her usual spot in the library. Luz Noceda goes to Hexside University, she's a freshman and barely knows how to keep up with her schoolwork. She lives with her adoptive mother Eda, and Eda's two roommates King and Hooty. Amity Blight also goes to Hexside with her brother Edric and her sister Emira. She works at a coffee shop on campus to help pay for her tuition, since she told her parents she would do it on her own. human AU where both their lesbian and bi panic catch up to them. Luz also isn't lactose intolerant. contains alcoholic beverages, smoking, and cursing. Luz thought it was finally time to leave the Boiling Isles and go back home. Once she got back, Camila didn't agree with her sneaking off for the Summer, so she sent Luz to what she thought was a Discipline School, but it wasn't. They lied, and Camila sent her child there. Years later when Luz was finally out, she couldn't bear to look at her mother. She grabbed her things while she was at work, and ran back to the portal, leaving her mother for possibly forever.
