This is my story. My life. Now before you read or turn away, I must warn you my life is anything but normal. Bad luck seems to follow me and everyone I love. Abuse, drugs, alcohol, heartbreak, loss; all of the above. I still don't know how I am here. Dealing with this endless cycle of depression and darkness.

I'm nothing, I've always been nothing. I can't do anything special or recognizable, and I have nothing besides anything I can get away with hiding. I have no family, I have no friends, I'm government property because my parents were fucking assholes and abandoned me. I hate everything except the things that get me through everything. I wasn't sure how I ended up here, but apparently I have zero decision of what I'm allowed to do, and now I get to share a bus with a ton of people to "build character" whatever that bullshit means. I just want to be left alone for once and fade into the nothingness I am.

I watched her as she slept. In fact I have been watching her since she was born. I have waited half a century to find that one person. I think I have finally settled on her. She was my choice. I know. After being in as many relationships as I have you know things. I felt my fangs tingle. Her blood smelled so sweet. Her heartbeat was steady and strong. I took my tongue and ran it across my fang. The temptation to indulge in her red liquid was far too strong. I let out a low growl and jumped out her window. I was ready for a hunt.
