Story is still a wip, VERY SLOW UPDATES. I am no longer interested in the Super Paper Mario fandom. It's a great game, but I've left the fandom itself. I'm just rewriting my old story, "Save Me From Myself", on my current account (Old: @_oceaneyess), for those who were invested in the last one and genuinely wanted to continue it. No clue how well this will do but I don't mind, as I hardly use �������� anymore.


[Y/N] is a young Flipside resident who is taught all about the fate of the world, right from the Light Prognosticus from their father, Merlon. They take to studying what they're taught, but being the typical 17-year-old they were, got bored and decided to go visit their long-time friend, Princess Peach, as opposed to continuing their studies. However, when they get to the castle, she is nowhere to be found, so their immediate instinct is to trudge on to Bowser's castle, because if Peach would be anywhere, it would be there, though likely not willfully. However, when they get there, they're met with a disturbing sight. And from there, their life will take a turn off of the rails of normality.


NOTES.
1. Dimentio won't be written without his mask. I still cannot imagine Dimentio having a face under his mask. His mask has a functioning mouth. As far as I'm concerned, he needs no other face.
2. Dimentio will not speak in CONSTANT metaphors. There will be quite a few since it is one of his character's quirks, but I can't think of 20 million metaphors and similes.
3. This will contain spoilers, but unlike last time, I likely will not have all the cutscene dialogues, as I have to replay the game to get them, and I don't want to do that. If i can find them on YouTube, I'll have them. If not, then I won't. But there will be game spoilers, so please be mindful.
4. I will not be taking any requests. This story is STILL a one-off, and will not have a sequel. All I am doing is improving the old one. The plot will remain the same, and therefore, no sequel.All Rights Reserved

This story has 18+ content due to yanderes, character death, and blood/gore. If you feel uncomfortable with those things, then you better not read this book. Reader discretion is advised. This takes place after the events of "New Super Mario Bros. U". After returning home to the Darklands and he out of all his siblings get yelled at by Bowser for being unable to defeat the Mario Bros yet again; though everyone had a fault in the failed plan as well, Ludwig von Koopa had enough. He fought back; claiming his father as "lovesick" and needs to wake up. There's more to that argument, but you'll find out later on. If that wasn't bad enough; Ludwig finally runs away from the Darklands to a new city he found called Pheonix Drop - the biggest and most popular city ever known - set on starting a new life with his passion for music. Bowser Jr. can have the throne all he wants. He IS the heir; not Ludwig anymore. When Ludwig did run away; it came with the consequences back in the Darklands. Bowser - realizing what he'd done - and the other koopalings snapped. They would all do ANYTHING to get the navy blue haired musician to love them again; even if Bowser Jr. is no longer heir to the throne for a change. If that's not bad enough; they would even vow to get rid of those who try to so much as talk to the said navy blue haired musician. This isn't an incest story. Don't think that. This is a family only yandere book.

This story does not intend to present itself as canon, and although it aligns with the main story of Super Paper Mario, some smaller details might have been changed for the sake of story telling. It's an alternate Universe where things used to be a lot darker, so it's by no means canon to either game. The universe is heavily based on Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares 2, however, though some names are the same, none of those characters from that game are in this. Unfortunately for the big bad king, Mario and his brother, Luigi, weren't far behind once they heard all the ruckus. However... this time, Bowser wasn't going to go down that easily. In which time, the slime was able to convince him to go out for one night as a vigilante, just to try it :) unfortunately, that one night led to a run in with the most dangerous villains in the city, the syndicate. Causing him to get roped into the syndicates plan to take over the government. Although things only get worse when he finds out the syndicates number one target, is his childhood best friend jschlatt, who charlie lost contact with once he got into the presidency. Things only get worse and worse over time as he gets more and more involved with this anarchist scheme. Chaos ensues Along with....other, plots of revenge.
