ABSTRACT:

A new way for authors to sell e-books is described. Selling individual pages of e-books as NFTs directly to a smaller number of book collectors will allow authors to support themselves from their work without needing the help of traditional publishing nor the help of marketplace makers such as Amazon Kindle. The benefits of single page NFTs is discussed and analyzed.

I lived within the pages of books. It wasn't ideal, perhaps even a little unhealthy, but it offered comfort in its predictability. In books, I found worlds where emotions had structure, where endings could be known. Books never surprised me, not like life did. Accepting a job, with a description better suited for a thriller rather than real life, would set off a chain of events that would carry me halfway around the world. I'd laugh harder, cry deeper, and do things I never thought possible. There'd be moments I longed for the quiet, predictable comfort of my books. But that one simple act would be the turning point-the moment that would rewrite my life's story in ways I couldn't yet imagine.
