Your past reincarnations have went through a lot, two achieved his heart, the rest had failed. A twist was made after the era of the Wild, and things became hectic. It wasn't that of the human race anymore. It was told that Hero had lost his lover in the Era of the Wild due to her sacrifice to save his life, thus, in the next era.. You were born to be 'temporary'. Your only hope of living is for him to love you. But that isn't easy. A rewrite of BOTW's story. It has been 100 years since the Great Calamity struck the land of Hyrule. After a century of slumber, a young Hylian awakens to find the world in shambles. With nothing but his courage and his name, he takes on the responsibility to put it back on track, and maybe, just maybe, to find his place in the world. (A/N: If anyone is confused about the writing style in the first few chapters, I apologize. I wrote this fanfic when I was still very new to writing. Written in Blood . {After OoT/MM fic} Hyrule is on the brink of another bloody war when he returns, the hero that had slipped away to be forgotten by the land. No longer a hero, living a life of isolation far away from the land that had made him a legend once. Resentful and broken, Link hides it best he can, trying to focus on the future and forget. But Zelda remembers him, the person he once was. He's so different now, and perhaps she is too. The whole land is, transformed by war as Ganondorf works to seize all that he believes once belonged to him, in a time no longer. Both Link and Zelda find themselves in the middle of this war, forced to fight and strategize and deal with their own inner demons as well as each other, amidst the war the Hylians fight to regain their land and defeat the King of Thieves. > < .
