Steve Harrington x Eddie Munson (enemies to lovers mainly) Steve just moved from a toxic environment and a toxic relationship to somewhere better for him. And maybe SOMEONE better for him too 😉. This story started off as only a chapter or two, but now it is an ongoing story. I post another chapter/part every few weeks or so. This is one of my first stories, so bear with me. I honestly am just changing it as I go and the first few / 1-2 chapters suck. Thank you so much for all of the support!

Steve's always been the jealous one according to the group, according to literally everyone. Even the kid who supposedly praises him. Everyone tells him that he's jealous of Dustin finding another older friend to have by his side. But no one knows why and that it's not all jealousy. He dropped what he was doing and turned around making cold eye contact with her. "Robin. I'm being serious. Drop it." The girl tensed up and worry gathered on her face for a short second. "Okay, okay. If it's that bad then I won't bother you about it again. I'm sorry okay?" She raised her hands up in a surrender and went back to the vhs's on the counter next to her. Steve took a long breath and rubbed his hands over his face. The bell on the door rand, but Steve ignored it. He was already stressed out enough as it was. "Steve!" He could hear two pairs of footsteps walking up the counter, one being the short curly haired boy he'd taken on as one of his best friends years ago. "Hey Henders-" Steve lost all track of thought in a matter of seconds, his breath was stuck in his throat along with any words he could've possibly thought might help in the situation. His face burned red and his hands started to shake. There was a familiar , now taller, curly haired boy standing behind Dustin. A way to familiar, curly haired boy. Dustin was able to convince Steve to have a movie night and during that time, Steve realizes he starts to develop feeling for Eddie and tells him... Them getting together wasn't really a good idea since it was the 80's and homophobia was a bitch. A freak and the golden boy wasn't alway the best match and it may cause problems for the future... But we'll have to wait a see... A lot of angst probably. Eddie is in his last year of school, he is the leader of Hellfire, he's openly Gay and pronouns are He/Him. He lives with his uncle Wayne and doesn't go out much except for Hellfire and Corroded Coffin. Steve Is working at family video with Robin, he's unlabelled and pronouns are He/Him. He works a lot and hangs out with Dustin and the kids, and occasionally Nancy. Both Steve and Eddie find themselves going to the pep rally at Hawkins high and Dustin introduces them, while Steve is a little jealous of Eddie for being friends with Dustin he doesn't completely hate him, however Eddie, starts to develop a crush fairly quickly but is certain Steve is straight and uninterested It's kinda slow burn kinda not? I try to put trigger warnings im at the beginning of chapters but sometimes i forget so possible trigger warnings are, SH, Hospital, death, depression, anxiety, ED, violence, language, sexual references, Homophobia

What the hell is normal in Hawkins? How do you go back to normal after seeing people die right in front of you? After seeing them tortured.? What is normal about the loneliness? The trauma? The nightmares? What is normal about anything in life after near death? What is normal? No one ever is normal.

Eddie gets rescued and him and Steve fall in love. It's my first fanfic so I hope you enjoy it. I tried to make it so everything makes sense cause that's what I kind of miss in other fanfics. It builds up slowly but there will Smit and fluff so just be patient as you read it. It has some heavy scenes but I try not to do to much of those so the story isn't to hard to read. I release a chapter everyday until the story is finished in my eyes. So I hope you enjoy this Steddie story!!!

Depression has really started to hit in the last couple of years after all of the tragic losses to the upsidedown. Nearly losing everything and everyone he's cared for and loved. Most everyone has gotten their chance to escape, Nancy and Jonathan moved to California after graduation. Robin's off at college. Until he realizes maybe he's not so alone here, sparking a true friendship with the most unlikely person, Eddie Munson. Eddie(22) hasn't been able to get out of this town either after swearing he would get the hell out of here many years ago. The kids are all graduating this year, which will most likely end up giving the two now men, no reason to stick around anymore. But what will happen to the two friends when Steve realizes the feelings he's thought for so long to just be a platonic friendship have always been a little more? Eddie was easy to talk to, his personality was infectious. He could light up a whole damn room with just a smile. Nothing's been the same since he's been gone. It feels like his whole world is collapsing in on him with every breath he takes.
