The time machine was beyond repair. It was an unfortunate realization on TestTube's end. She could re-build it of course, but she'd need time. Luckily she had it, sort of anyways, this place ran on a "schedule" that consisted of whatever Salt and Pepper felt in the moment. Which resulted in inconsistent spaces between what the girls loosely labeled "contests". For the time being TestTube resigned herself to attempting to blend in, just until her machine was fully rebuilt. She'd gotten better at predicting the condiments habits after being here for a week, and she predicted the next challenge wouldn't be for awhile- Then the challenge bell rang. Well, they started an art class, every wednesday they would help their students get better at painting. But soon enough, they found a new interest. Finger Painting. They loved how much control they had, they loved how easy it was to glide their finger against the canvas. One day, they accidentally spilt some blood onto their canvas. They tried to rub it away, but.. It felt good. Even better than paint. They loved the feeling of the blood against the canvas, rubbing into it and creating an amazing picture. How could they not like it? But they couldn't use it again, they could use a substitute. Test Tube was bored. So incredibly bored. She had done every experiment in the book. At least, every humane experiment. She looked down at the open book. An idea that couldn't be tested as there was no way to test it without potentially facing jail time for torture.
