On Mandalore, Maul de-ages Obi-Wan back to right after he became a padawan, intending to forcibly make him his apprentice. Anakin and Ahsoka show up in time to rescue him but now they're stuck with a teenage padawan Obi-Wan and with no idea if they can ever reverse what happened.

After his death, Anakin awakens in his younger body at the beginning of the Clone Wars. He tries to reconnect with his once family while struggling to learn how to be human, if indeed he ever knew in the first place. For all that he longs to be around Obi-Wan, he struggles to trust him, and he failed Ahsoka once, so how can he trust himself to protect her?

After leaving Vader a second time, Obi-Wan is given, and takes, the chance to travel to the past to fix his mistakes. He hopes it will be easy. It's not. As the galaxy around him spirals out of control a second time, Obi-Wan captures a newly Fallen Darth Vader and runs away with him. Even if he can't save Anakin, at least he can stop Vader from terrorizing the galaxy again.

Killed on Mustafar by Sidious while attempting to rescue Vader, Ahsoka is reborn as Luke's adopted younger sister. She struggles with constantly remembering flashes of her life as Ahsoka as she remembers more about Anakin. More than anything, she wants to find out more about her past, wants to find Anakin again in person but he's dead. Right?

Anakin accompanies Ahsoka to Mandalore and the future of the galaxy is changed forever.

Obi-Wan surviving the Death Star leads to Vader's TIE fighter being shot down in the dogfight over its surface as it approaches the Rebel base at Yavin IV. And when Vader crashes on the planet, not too far from the Rebels, Leia finds herself dealing with much more than her grief over losing Alderaan and her family there as she comes face to face with her birth father.

When Obi-Wan goes to see Padme before leaving for Utapau, he discovers a secret. She is pregnant with not one, but two, Skywalker children. The unborn Luke struggles to get his attention, and unintentionally shows the Jedi Master flashes of the impending dark future, one which Obi-Wan promises to avert. If only he knew how.

Obi-Wan Kenobi is dead. Except he's not. And Anakin Skywalker doesn't know how to cope with the crushing betrayal. "He knows he shouldn't hurt himself, but as long as no one knows, it won't matter. He can live. He can face Obi-Wan without breaking apart. He's fine. Everything's fine. Except he's not, and he's the only one who knows it."

Ahsoka left the Order, and part of him went with her. After Anakin dies only weeks later, he thought it would be the end, but the Force isn't ready to let its son die. Instead, Anakin opens his eyes to see Christophsis at the beginning of the Clone Wars. The Force has given him another chance, and he alone can decide how to use it.
