Aurora, a 23 year old artist with synesthesia, has just moved to Brighton, England as an attempt to escape the problems from her home life in the US and chase the dreams she once had in college. She almost immediately discovers that her new apartment shares a wall with a noisy musician next door, a less than ideal situation. Aurora is faced with the question of what's worse, the sounds of his music through the walls all hours of the night, or her thoughts when it's finally silent? Wilbur, a 25 year old online content creator, is faced with two dilemmas. One, he has already seemed to be a nuisance to his new neighbor. And two, he fell head over heels for a random American girl in his local grocery store without as much as asking for her name. He feels haunted by the stranger, constantly finding pieces of her scattered through his day to day life. Wilbur has to find a way to smooth things out with his new neighbor and somehow track down the girl he met by chance. Note: This story is a parallel of their experiences- each chapter alternates following Aurora and Wilbur. Y/N is a young, 16 year old kid. Their parents never got along very well, and Y/N would tune into Twitch streams or watch YouTube videos of their favorite MCYTs to drown out their parents fights, or to just pass the time. Y/N absolutely adored the Dream SMP and it's lore more than anything. However, Y/N was in a car accident with their parents, which resulted in their death, and Y/N's broken leg. Y/N was put into a foster system and bounced many homes within just a year. 27 homes to be exact. When Y/N was put into the foster system, their phone was shut off as nobody was able to pay for it anymore. This resulted in Y/N not being able to watch their comfort streamers anymore, which led Y/N into a depression-like state. Y/N's comfort streamers were the reason why Y/N hadn't took their own life. The people Y/N enjoyed watching the most was some people named Dream, Ranboo, Phil, Technoblade, and Wilbur Soot. Technoblade or Ranboo was probably their all-time favorite though. After all of this time, Y/N has mostly forgotten what all of the MCYTs look like, sound like, and even their names. One day, when Y/N is back in the place where all the kids wait to he fostered or adopted, two men walk in looking for a kid. No specific gender, race, or body type. Just a good kid. Y/N figures they're a lost cause since the staff kept telling the men how much of a 'rebellious little brat' they were, but then the men started talking with Y/N.
