As they enter their 5th year at Hogwarts, following their eventful fourth year (some events from the cursed child may be mentioned in the story briefly), Scorpius Malfoy and Albus Potter are harboring two huge secrets. 2 The sequel to Scorpius and the Final Fight (LIKE MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR IT). Scorpius and Albus got home. But a letter from Delphi tears them apart. They go their separate ways. And it hurts. But Albus being Albus, even now his life had improved dramatically, has a lot that came with. Disclaimer: there are some unresearched and badly written characters in this work that I apologise for. I do not want to take the work down because that denies the fact that I ever made these mistakes, but please understand that I know these portrayals are somewhat problematic and I apologise.

Rose Weasley is not your normal girl. She’s the badass with the best marks, the girl every guy wants but will never get-she’s the one everyone talks about, but doesn’t necessarily want to be. She's the girl with a secret talent and untold dream. She also happens to be one of the only girls in school who is not in love with Scorpius Malfoy. Instead, she spends her days ignoring his flirtatious winks and sly grins. And no one knows why. Now summer is over, Rose is back at school and trying to forget the events that unfolded. She is hard as rock, walls towering and heart guarded like Gringotts, ready to take on anyone who tries to question her motives. As Rose’s seventh year progresses, secrets will be revealed and hearts will be broken, but most of all, she may just finally see the good in the boy that she thought unforgivable.

A dancing pair of fluttery pink fairy wings. That was all anyone ever seemed to see in Lily Luna Potter, because she never took them off. An angel of innocence, she pranced around Hogwarts as if everyone loved her, making good marks and smiling at everyone she saw. It was all a mask, of course, and it chafed at her, making her feel pressured and overly bubbly, like a bottle of butterbeer being shaken. It was bound to wear thin someday and peel off, this mask of hers, she reasoned. Why not now? A stack of books. That was all anyone ever seemed to see in Scorpius Malfoy, because he was never seen without one- often his thin face would be completely hidden by thick, musty old tomes. Even after going on that completely MENTAL time-traveling adventure with Albus Potter and having his birth status confirmed, Scorpius was still "that odd Malfoy kid," while Albus himself had suddenly become a Hogwarts icon. This made Scorpius feel second-best to a former fellow loser- never a good feeling. But he was bound to distinguish himself someday, he reasoned. Why not now? Scorpius Malfoy and Lily Potter. Two adolescents who were trying to break free from predetermined images that had been thrust upon them. Their only obstacles? Each other.

This story takes place AFTER the Cursed Child. Scorpius is in love with Rose, he's been love struck since the day he met her. He loved everything about her, her hair, her eyes, her intelligence, her wit, and her sass. No one was better than Rose, and he was determined to make her his- even if it meant waiting along with years of persuasion. Albus is in love with Scorpius. And who wouldn't be? What with the boy's personality, his geekiness, his cleverness, and his sense of humor, anyone would love him. Nyx Light is a fifth year from the United States. She moved to London with her family, and being part of the wizarding world, she had gone to Ilvermorny and was in the house of Pukwudgie. She'll find that things at Hogwarts are very different from what she's used to at home. And along with her, may come some interesting visitors. With new friends and old alike, there will be mischief to be managed, and adventures that are waiting, this year will be one of the best yet, and many more great years will follow.
