Gerard and Mikey have been friends with Ray for years. They hung out all the time until Mikey and Ray started dating. Since then, Gerard has been going to the local bars to pass his time. He really only goes for the local bands and inspiration for upcoming projects of his. Frank Iero is in one the bands Gerard has seen. Gerard finds it intriguing when he watches him play for how he gets lost in the music. Gerard ends up drawing Frank and when Frank finds out, he wants to get to know Gerard as Gerard wants to know him as well. The two end up becoming roommates and tensions run deep but they don't know if the other had the same feelings or if they are just wasting each other's time.

After the death of someone truly important to him, Gerard is left lonely and depressed, wondering whether or not it's worth it to keep living. One day however, Gerard meets Frank, who happens to fall out of a tree while Gerard is walking to school and nearly crushes him. The two get along quite well, even though their personalities are practically exact opposites. As time passes by, Frank begins to learn more about Gerard and what he's going through, but will he be able to save him in time? *Warning: Contains mentions of suicide*

Shortly before losing his father to cancer, Frank develops a change of heart and becomes a caregiver. Getting sick of working many dead-end and crummy jobs at nursing homes, he takes up in-home care, where he meets Gerard, an old friend from high school. Diagnosed with a terrible illness that is soon to claim his life, Gerard has a very negative outlook on life, feeling both worthless and beyond help. But, will any of that change when his old high school friend, and now caregiver, comes back into his life? (Kudos to momiji_neyuki for collaborating with me on this fic!)

Gerard is in love with Frank. He doesn't tell anyone. Frank is in love with Gerard. He doesn't tell anyone either. They cope with their feelings so different but yet all the same. Fanfiction. Gerard writes a lot of Frerard fanfics. He's actually a very well known "fangirl" in the MCR fanfiction fandom. Frank however, loves reading Frerard fanfiction and does it all the time. Little do they know that Gerard writes the fanfics that Frank reads.

How can two people so different be so perfect? A story of romance, tragedy, healing, and finally happiness, because everyone needs a happy ending sometimes. - Gerard doesn't talk to anyone, he doesn't know anyone, he's completely absorbed in the little bubble that is his independent little life. He's homeschooled as well, which means he only ever leaves to get groceries. For how little he leaves the house, and how closed off he is, it's quite a wonder how he met Frank. Frank is an extrovert and he kind of lacks boundaries when it comes to making friends. He's curious and speaks his mind constantly, which sometimes gets him into trouble. It must be good for something though, because not many people bother to figure out Gerard. Gerard has been missing for over a week. His brother, Mikey, and their bandmates all miss him desperately. Mikey in particular seems to be taking his disappearance badly, despite all reassurance. His only gleam of hope in life comes in the odd form of Frank Iero, one of his bandmates and his friend. But as Mikey is plagued with fantasies (which he immediately shoots down), and self-doubt that overcomes anything in his mind, will he have a happy ending with Frankie or succumb to the pain and fear?

Mikey Way was on tour with his two (obviously in love with each other) bandmates when he realized that something was missing. After checking through all of his stuff, he finally figured it out. They were missing their guitarist. Meanwhile, Ray Toro was beginning to panic while he was waiting for his bandmates in a truck stop in the middle of nowhere. After spending hours searching for them, he finally discovered that the rest of My Chemical Romance was already in Chicago, where they were still trying to figure out what they were going to do without him. After all, it seemed increasingly clear that everything would fall apart on the day that My Chemical Romance forgot their guitarist. Collaboration with @RadioSpirit.
