[This story could be triggering: Self-harm, Anxiety, Suicidal Ideation] He was his anchor of sorts, he held him down when he felt like he was drifting away. But love can't fix you, it can only help you along the way. Frank Iero, unbelievably adorable but also unbelievably sad. When he meets the more outgoing artsy boy with beautiful jet black hair in a forest at 2am, neither of them expect it to shape the rest of their lives. Frank is a troubled teen to say the least, there is a constant battle going on his mind. These days he can barely think clearly anymore and Gerard wants to help save him. But how can he attempt to save someone who is already so far gone?

Shortly before losing his father to cancer, Frank develops a change of heart and becomes a caregiver. Getting sick of working many dead-end and crummy jobs at nursing homes, he takes up in-home care, where he meets Gerard, an old friend from high school. Diagnosed with a terrible illness that is soon to claim his life, Gerard has a very negative outlook on life, feeling both worthless and beyond help. But, will any of that change when his old high school friend, and now caregiver, comes back into his life? (Kudos to momiji_neyuki for collaborating with me on this fic!)

Frank Iero's life sucks. And it gets worse and worse each day. With an exception of his boyfriend Gerard and his mom he pretty much hates everyone. He's doing fine until one night. He just can't take it anymore. He drops his life and runs. But running away causes a chain reaction of unfortunate events. Prequel to: Trust life a little bit

Gerard has been feeling strange, and he thinks Frank has something to do with it. Are they just friends, or possibly something more? Things get even worse when an unfortunate event happens at a concert, and even if Gerard and Frank had something, there is a chance Gerard might never find out. ((The curse words will be uncensored soon, whenever I have a chance to edit this.)) [This fic is trigger free! No depression, suicide, eating disorders, or anything of that sort.]

The next few seconds went by in a blur as Frank reached his decision. He wasn’t going to suffer living with pent up urges and desires anymore. Why try to squash something that felt so perfect? After the death of someone truly important to him, Gerard is left lonely and depressed, wondering whether or not it's worth it to keep living. One day however, Gerard meets Frank, who happens to fall out of a tree while Gerard is walking to school and nearly crushes him. The two get along quite well, even though their personalities are practically exact opposites. As time passes by, Frank begins to learn more about Gerard and what he's going through, but will he be able to save him in time? *Warning: Contains mentions of suicide*
