It was tough work healing all of Beach City. From the land to the settlements, all that was wrecked has now been rebuilt stronger and better than ever. But despite the prosperity, Steven misses Spinel more than he'll ever admit. Eventually, he's had enough and decides to go visit her on Homeworld. The question is though, is this feeling due to being separated from a new friend or is it fact something much deeper? Steven must find out soon because no adventure for him is without conflict and some such conflict is lurking around waiting to strike when he least expects it. Steven's hometown has become fun and peaceful ever since the events at Homeworld with White Diamond. But time has passed surprisingly quick, going by so fast that Steven is now 22 years old. The adolescent Diamond soon begins to notice some rather strange and unusual behavior coming from his Gems companions. Ben has severe difficulty dealing with the past. With Peridot gone, he is plagued by nightmares and fears he is losing his mind. He hopes that this can be fixed, and suppresses all the feelings he used to have for her, while trying to not live in fear of the other gems. Peridot knows what she is. She is a technician, a gem bred for accuracy and technical skill. She is not meant to show emotion, for that is weakness. What can she do when love is like going against everything she ever knew?
