After Gale makes a surprise return to District 12 he's whisked away, by none other than the Capitol. Is there enough time to save him, as well as her friends? What if the Hunger Games switched between Gale, Katniss, and Peeta's points of view? What if Gale found out about Coin's plan to kill Prim? Though feelings start to stir in the young victor. After confessing to Peeta that the love she expressed in the Games was all a show, she still knows she cant give him up. Meanwhile, Gale Hawthorne is working hard to show her that he loves her. Trouble arouses when both lovestruck boys begin fighting for her love. "If you love two people, always pick the second person. Because if you really love the first person you wouldn't have fallen in love again."

Peeta Mellark has survived the Hunger Games, he escaped the Quarter Quell, then he was rescued from the torturous hands of the Capitol. His memory has been tampered with, so everything he sees could be either real or fake. Instead of a smooth recovery, he is thrown right into war. What would become of him in the end? Broken. (Taking place a little over halfway through the Mockingjay book and after the movie Mockingjay Part 1) This is a somewhat sequel to the other story I wrote called Hijacked, but I think you could read this without reading the other one.
