I regret it all,
The cause of my downfall.
The day I met you,
The lies that weren't true.
I cant forget,
And this is why I have all that regret.
That warm and welcoming smile,
That made my life worth while.
That warm embrace,
That never failed to put a smile on my face.
Your gentle personality,
That made me question if it was all reality.
Your caring heart,
That lit a flame from the very start.
Your soft lips,
That would put a spontaneous stop to all of my 'what ifs'.
I miss you,
I love you,
I care about you.
Now I must forget you,
and bury you in my heart.
I wish it would all rewind back to the start.
