I went to India when I was 18 years old, and stayed for nine years in the Ashram of Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh state, India. After that, I was eight months in Anandashram in Kerala. Then I moved to Shanti Ashram in East Godavari Dist in Andhra Pradesh, where I stayed seven years. I then returned to Puttaparthi for four years. Then I returned to USA for a visit but my Indian long-term visa became invalid so I stayed on. Planning to return to India in a few years to live!
