Hi Kirsty, I just wanted to wish you a happy holiday season and thank you for your support. :) It is very interesting that you want to become an interpreter in BSL, and that your boyfriend is deaf but doesn't speak it. I know every country has pretty much their own sign language, I find it liberating for them but also limiting if they want to travel. It is already hard when you travel to another country where you cannot speak the language, but always you might hope to find someone who speaks English somewhere...it must be awfully hard to find someone who speaks the same sign language as you do.
