I just want you to know that I am deeply upset to here about the injustice in our country. For those of you of color who are reading this I am truly upset at the police brutally and institutionalized and systemic  racism you have to face in this country. As a white person from the south I am sad to say that many of my family members are extremely racist. But I will not be one of them. 
          
          In the words of  Martin Luther King Jr.,"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
          
          I strongly stand by these words. I am not going to judge people by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. If I am in any way being  unintentionally racist in what I say or hoe I act  I would like people to make me aware of this immediately and I will do my best to correct these wrongs.  I support you in your  fight and I hope to see the day where police do not abuse their power. I hope to see the day where institutionalized and systemic racism ends. I hope to see the day where any forms of racism end.  Because your lives matter.

Sure May the fourth be with you.
          
          But everyone's forgetting May the sixth be with you.

Hi I just wrote a story for the #homebeforedark contest. It's about a time when I told the truth and was honest even though it was hard to do. It wasn't easy for me to tell the truth about my mental issues my Sophomore year. In the end however, it turned out for the better. It's about /story/220956611
