Today is the work day where I'm on register with one other person, that being my manager. Just us two versus the world.

If you don't hear from me again, then I have fallen to the geriatric horde and the Hostess display is in the stratosphere.

(Yeah, today is gonna suck, lol.)

Just had a grown ass man (likely twice my age at minimum) bang on another register and then asked me if it was working, thinking it was a self-checkout. I politely told him that it's not one, and he banged on it again before repeating "does this thing not work?" To which I kindly asked him to get in line and that I'll check him out as soon as I can.

What I WANTED to say was "No sir, it does not. And clearly neither does your brain.", but... Y'know, I got bills to pay.

This is the type of goofy ah bullshit I have to put up with, lol.

@Sunniertoast Wish we could tell the customers to knock it off and just be chill, lol.

@Projectcobra72 I had a friend in school named Reece who was quite the quiet type and didn’t like making friends he got into a fight once and according to what one of my friends had said resulted in two broken desks a broken chair three shattered windows five holes in multiple different walls and principal having to step in and told the both of them to knock it off they would always talk to each other after that.

The Sonic subreddit if I shared my opinions would be saints compared to the average customer, lmao.

Feel like going from my old books to Moebius Loop is the equivalent of giving a Victorian child a bottle of Mtn Dew.

Anyways, it's 2 am and I got work tommorow. Augh...

Projectcobra72

The fact that one of my old books took like a month to write, meanwhile a chapter of ML takes well over that much is crazy.

Although I think that's less to do with ML being better, and more me trying to get through my burnout by slamming my head against the problem.

"Hey everyone, splitting chapter 4 as it's gotten longer than I would like."

Looks at chapter 5 being 8000 words at the moment. Like I get that a chapter can be as long as I feel, and those 8000 words aren't wasted, but I don't want to feel like I'm wasting y'all's time. Although to be fair, a lot of the length has to do with the fact that I've been improving, describing more things with the way I write. Anyways, chapter 5 is almost done!

Versailles Federation high command: "Admiral Clemenceau, for some reason all the trackers on our nuclear warheads are saying that they are on your nephew's ship. Do you know anything about this?"

Clemenceau: "No idea. Probably compromised trackers. Acadia has likely stolen them, and are going to reveal that we've violated the treaty. Lay down 20 more battlecruisers."

High command: "Dear God... We'll get on it right away!"

Meanwhile, Arno and a Munchkin celebrating as they just committed possibly the greatest heist in Avalon's history:

Projectcobra72

"Clemenceau, we're having to increase taxes due to the war industry. What can we do to improve morale on the home front?"

            "Lay down more battlecruisers."

"And what about our friends in Kievya?"

            "More battlecruisers."

            "Hinowa?"

            "More. Battlecruisers."

"My wife left me. What should I do?"

"Millions must lay down battlecruisers. And a carrier I guess."

            "Thoughts on a battlecarrier?"

*Clemenceau ascends as the Halo theme blasts.*

Can't wait for Arno to have his late-WW2 USN moment and decide "if there's deck space, put an AA gun in its place!"

You see, the Munchkins' obsession with the Bofors 40mm/L60 AA platform is actually tied to the L O R E!

Projectcobra72

"Listen, if we don't have at LEAST 120 AA guns, then we are FAILING. I don't want to shoot down planes, I want to shoot down the SUN with how much lead we'll be spewing out!" ~Arno, probably.

Watched my roommate play the new Doom. Looked fun. Might try it at some point.

Wanted to like Eternal but I bounced off hard. Really liked 2016. I'm cursed with being a casual "haha I just want to kill da Demons" guy. I would probably enjoy Eternal if I sat down and tried to learn it, but that's difficult for me. I know, skill issue, I couldn't care less.

So seeing Dark Ages' gameplay looking more slowed down and less G-fuel IV bag has me interested. I dunno yet. Still got games I need to complete for the sake of my sanity, lol. Deus Ex is crying in my Steam library.

@Projectcobra72 honestly first time I played dark ages on that particular level… well it was a Crack apocalypse.

@Sunniertoast Good to see that people can still play it like they're on crack (that's a good thing) even if I won't be, lol.

*Checks patch notes for Wows Legends*

Preussen? Okay, might have a reason to play Legendary tier...

Hunt for Bismarck event that adds Unsinkable Sam as a guise!? Fuck yeah!

Fighter/Defensive AA buff? Thank God! They're actually usable now!

Battle of Jutland event that adds Indefatigable, Moltke and Leipzig!? *Halo theme plays quietly in the background as I try not to ascend.*

LEGENDS IS COMING TO STEAM, HAEH!? Whelp, PC players who hate submarines and even more annoying carriers can switch without having to buy a console now. I can hear the sighs of relief.

Projectcobra72

AL Formidable got buffed too. She might be usable when red team uses their brain, lol.

I love how me as a kid was like "Oh, there's a battleship named after my state? Oh... It's a lame dreadnought... Why couldn't it be an Iowa? *Looks at a South Dakota class battleship.* That Iowa look funny."

Meanwhile now, I absolutely ADORE WW1 era battleships/battlecruisers. I find it interesting how technology boomed at the time.

Fun fact! In the time since the year 2000, 25 years, the US Navy went from the Pennsylvania to the North Carolina battleships.

The Royal Navy went from the Repulse to the Prince of Wales (yes, I mentioned them together specifically. It's crazy to think that they served in the same squadron when they went down.)

The German navy in the span of 25 years went from the K?nig class battleship to the Scharnhorst class.

Japan went from the Ise to Yamato in that time period, with only the Nagato class being completed in-between.

Italy went from the Andrea Doria to the Vittorio Veneto in that time period. Similar to Japan, Italy didn't have that many new ships. Both had designs for new capital ships (Japan with the Toda and Kii, Italy with their unnamed 1928 and 1933 designs.)

USS Nimitz is laughing her ass off, having served for 50 years. We will ignore USS Constitution vibing at the age of 227 years old and *technically* being in active service.

Projectcobra72

Also, *TOSA* class. Thanks, autocorrect.

I forgor the Clemenceau class carrier existed. Poor Foch.

Guess that's what happens when you get sold to the navy that thought the Atlantico from Wows was a good design.

To be fair though, that design was one guy. And if we could judge an entire navy off of one guy, the Royal Navy would be seen as a blunder. Thanks, certain member of the Royal Navy who thought it was a good idea to not secure the ammo during the Battle of Jutland.

Slight spoilers for Moebius Loop chapter 5!

So a new ship gets introduced, that being the Sardegnan battlecruiser "Dalla Quercia". Here's what you need to know!

-Design wise, she is based off of both early British and German battlecruiser designs, specifically Invincible and Von der Tann. She is the first Federation battlecruiser, and it shows.

-Her name translates to "From the Oak", which is a nod to Von der Tann's "From the Pine". Oak trees are the most common in Sardinia, so Sardegna's first battlecruiser having the name is fitting to me.

-Debating on whether or not I have her fare the same fate as Invincible and be made out of explodium. If you know, you know...

-In the chapter, she appears unfinished, having her guns installed but her engines non-functional. This is a reference to the fact that I need to go to bed so that I can get some sleep and potentially finish this chapter tommorow. Ugh. I hate being creative exclusively at night, lol.
