1 YEAR SINCE PALESTINE GOT ATTACKED
One year of genocide
One year of pain
One year of suffering
One year of mass murder
One year of dreams killed for the Palestinians
One year of worry for the Palestinians who don't live in Palestine, worrying about their family and friends stuck in Palestine
One year of worry for the Palestinians who are still alive who have no idea one what can happen to them even in the next 2 minutes, the worry of death.
One year of bombing
One year of destruction
One year of displacement for the Palestinians
One year of separation for those Palestinians who got separated during the war.
One year of killing lives that have barely started (killing babies)
One year of losing homes
One year of losing loved ones
One year of war but only one side has an army
THIS HASN'T JUST BEEN ONE YEAR! IT'S BEEN SINCE MAY 14TH 1948! My heart aches for the Palestinians, imagining never be safe in minute, imagining having to wake to bombs instead of birds, imagining having to look at the sky for planes and not stars. Unfortunately, the Palestinians and people in Palestine don't have to imagine because it's a reality for them.
My question is why are we just doing this? Why are we just watching from the sidelines and saying nothing, Why are we supporting people who clearly and openly promote this? Why are we looking at the pictures and doing nothing?
As a person who supports Palestine with my entire family (both extended and non extended) who support Israel. I support knowing they are going to criticize me and that they will tell me I'm just a kid who knows nothing about any of this. If I can support knowing that, you can support too. It's not hard being on the right side.
