the sight of the familiar male was definitely surprising to the blond,  knowing cassius had left hawkins — he didn’t ever expect him to come back,  jason knew he wouldn’t.  too bad he ended up stuck in hawkins after college.  his blue eyes would scan the male stood in front of him,  seeing how much cassius has grown since the last he’s seen him.  once he began talking,  jason’s attention was back,  his eyes now locking with the other.  “a few weeks?  would’ve expected you to stay for /at least/ a few days.  but..  it’s nice to see you.  what have you been up to anyway?”  it genuinely was nice to have cassius back,  even despite their complicated relationship whilst they were high schoolers.  it was a nice change of scenery having him around.
