I have always been a dreamer. In my circle of friends I often refer to myself as a Keeper of the magical world, meaning something between a 'collector' and a 'writer' of stories.
I came up with my first tale, about the Iron Bride for the Tin Woodsman, a long time ago, back in the early nineties. Only many years later it became known that such stories are called fanfics.
During my school years, I came up with Rieveria (from the French "un rêve" - a dream) - a magical universe where all my favourite characters lived. Prince Mio, Mary Lennox from "The Secret Garden", Count Dracula, Dr Frankenstein and his forgiven monster... It's easier to say who wasn't there than to list all the Rieverians. The fallen heroes and creatures were sent to the kingdom of Einar (a character from the "The Vikings" film, 1958).
What happened next? A wave of The Harry Potter fandom came and carried me on its crest. Except that Hogwarts, with all its teachers and students, no longer fit into any of the Rieverian Kingdoms and deserved a separate "world to keep". Lord Einar would be pleased to know that his subjects could be more than just James and Lily, though.
After everything that happened in Rieveria, I wasn't saddened by any of the deaths in the pages of the Harry Potter books. I felt rather puzzled. There was no universal "Resurrected House" in Hogwarts, so I had to find other ways. The Potters and Cedric were resurrected, Sirius and Dumbledore were saved from death altogether. Needless to say, I approached the seventh book with "expertise".
The two hundred-page fanfic was shoddy even by amateur standards.  It has never been published online. 

My new work, "Hogwarts Mascot", is based on all the seven Harry Potter books, and I am still faithful to my love and resurrection ideas.
