my biggest ick when trying to find UTAU fanfics is when people make the "sub"/less dominant one in a ship a girl, like an ecto-body is one thing, but making these male characters into females just for monogamy is soooo icky to me.
          like genderbending is fine, female ecto-bodies on a male character, sure! those are fine, but these authors are only genderbending for the sake of making them straight and forcing them into what always feels like a typical 1950s ass relationship where the woman does the housework, cares for kids, etc. while the man works and provides.... like it's just masked misogyny, to be honest.
          and i get it some of the authors are probably like 12, but i still wrote gay shit when i was 12 without needing to make anyone the opposite gender. even in my kiribaku phase they were both men. it's just weird to take a same-sex ship and make one the opposite gender for no good reason

          That is still true. :] Tomorrow (hopefully!!). I was hoping to do it tonight, but it's uhh... midnight... and I still need to finish some things before I can finally put everything into a proper post.

late night depression posts we all love late night depression posts!! (this no im not updating yet sorry)
          
          wallowing in depression tonight and as i normally do, mammalian sighing reflex is my go-to for the depression playlist. i find myself relating to a lot of the songs from that album as painful and hard as that is to admit.
          but i find myself just getting heart broken all over again- it hurts me knowing Wilbur opened up his heart about the shit he's gone through, the way his depression affects him, his relationships with people... he said he was feeling better when he released that album... just for two months later, some bitter bitch had to ruin everything.
          
          all of his friends seemingly abandoning him, no one even bothered to stand up for him or stand by him.
          except his bandmates.
          
          it hurts knowing that it had sucked him right back into the emotions he felt back when he was living those experiences that he wrote the very album about.
          
          i just cry thinking about it. he's just a human. even if he did fucking bite that stupid bitch, he never meant any fucking harm. that doesnt invalidate trauma but that doesnt make him a bad person.
          he didnt fucking deserve and still doesnt deserve to be treated the way he is. he deserves better. and it just continues to break my heart knowing that his "friends" abandoned him just like that.
          
          i don't know him. i know that. but i just hurt thinking about how hurt he must have felt. he shouldnt have to have gone through that.

          and then a year later, upon discovering he had opened a message that I didn't even remember sending, I sent a kitten photo.

Welp... given recent information that has dropped (thank you Tommy, bless you, king), I think it's safe to say that dream is a degenerate of a human being. He's borderline an abuser, he's a p3dophile/gr00mer (which we already knew), sexist, and ableist.
          Even though Tommy (reasonably) scripted his video, (which no, guys, isn't weird or bad. it's stressful for him, and a script helped him stay on course) you could see how anxious he was making it and I wouldn't doubt he isn't still anxious. dream has gone out of his way to continue harassing Tommy, and bragging that he "made him famous". Then, taking into consideration how devoted dream's cult is, I wouldn't doubt Tommy may be more afraid right now after putting out the video. I wish him safety and comfort, and I especially wish him peace after this blows over.
          dream has been abusing Tommy and his friends since the beginning of the DSMP, going as far as to insult them, especially Tommy. He's also known for gaslighting, considering his terrible "i'm innocent" video when he was outted as a p3do/gr00mer. Tommy revealed that dream and his friends are also sexist- not to forget the fact that they are still dream's friends, despite him being a fucking p3dophile.
