i still like one piece but really only the lore. i very much dislike the creator and the depictions of women and poc in op are awful, which is pretty much the reason i stopped watching the anime
@WarpedGrapes039209 honestly, the only reason most fans stay (or rather, the fans who realize the show/manga has major issues with depicting specific groups of people) is definitely because of the lore. i hate to admit it but the lore is great, even if it's the only reason i stay in the fandom. though the other reason would be because i like a select few characters (imu!! <3)
@WarpedGrapes039209 so true, also I've said this b4 but it's so funny in a way hearing ppl talk abt one piece designs bc it makes it sound like the worst show ever .. like "I love when people draw Nami and give her a real human body!" or "it's so cool when ppl draw usopp like how poc really look and not in a really racist way!!"
