Feel free to block me cause I am about to say some hurtful things.
Starting a book and not updating it is not the problem. The fact that you keep saying you are comming back and you will keep updating this book "Ice cold" and never seeing any new chapter is the true dissappointment. You have every right to not write the rest of the story or discontinue it completely but please refrain from making statements such as "I will start writing soon!" If you don't feel like/don't plan on writing it anymore just straight up tell your readers and don't keep them waiting for updates that will never come.
