I found Sky Woman on Amazon Kindle, quite some time ago.... I'm just now realizing I'm going to have to say everything I want to in less than 2000 characters... -.-" Suffice the long story to say that I finally bought and read a copy of your book. I am a neurodivergent, disabled, queer, person of colour and I saw myself in Enfri. I laughed and cried with her and Deebee and Jin. I typically don't find people like me represented in media, especially fantasy stories which are my favourite genre to read. But your book - which had charmed me from the first two or three pages - changed that. When I finished the book, I scoured the internet to try to find your website but I could not find it. The little author blurb at the back that you disliked writing in third person gave me hope that you were tapping away at the next book in the series - I just hoped that I had not missed it and the website had been taken down. Finally, someone's review on StoryGraph brought me here to 抖阴社区, and I've been wrestling with the verification system to try to create an account and leave a message.
Something I have in common with you, a complete stranger, is that I am an artist. I love writing stories and poetry, making music, drawing art. I believe art is an important thing for the world, especially now, when the world is suffering and also as the world decides to turn their back on artists. I don't think many people quite understand how much art lifts the soul of humanity. I've said before that art is standing at the precipice of what it means to be human, looking over into the void and boldly declaring yourself. Another thing I share with you is that I've experienced (and still do experience) depression. So I want to say to you, the artist of this masterpiece, thank you. And I want you to know you are important and what you love is important. This world is all the better, for people like you are in it. It's people like you who make me want to keep trying my best.
