          	I hold up a dripping plate. "So what's next? Do we go climb mountains? Adopt a puppy? Paint the living room blue?"
          	
          	She chuckles. "Actually, I was thinking we start with a walk around the neighborhood. Get to know the lay of the land."
          	
          	"Brilliant," I say. "And maybe after that you can explain what a "sidewalk" is and why you drive on the wrong side of the road."
