You guys know how Eminem shows his anger in his music? Well, my writing or stories are like that. I have no way of coping with depression, heartbreak, grief, and the other crap I deal with in life, so all of it manifests in my books. 
          
          People have been flabbergasted by the things I put my characters through and they hate that there’s so much trauma and tragedy in my stories. It’s not that those things happened in real, but they are a form or symbol for things I don’t know how to deal with properly in real life.
          
          Even though *all my novels are fiction* they are still a manifestation of a lot of things going on in my mind, so no need to worry…the horrible things didn’t happen in real life.

I do this thing where I’ll go into books blindly and once I read a decent amount of the book and realize it’s similar to a story I’m writing I instantly become obsessed. I’ll look to see if the author has other books that are similar to mine and if they don’t I go find other authors that do. I become intrigued and obsessed with the way the author does something with a similar idea I had. Sometimes I feel like they’re stealing my stories, or at least the ideas, but once I remind myself that great minds just think alike I go back to enjoying what they’re doing with the ideas ;)
          
          I know that I’m a weirdo and no one else does this, but thought I’d share one of my current obsessions right now.

These days people want everyone to read their work, but they won’t do the same for others who put so much effort into their stories. I believe in supporting each other. If you read my books I will read your books. Same goes for commenting and voting.

I’m sorry if this post comes off the wrong way. I just have people making agreements with me to do read for reads, but as soon as I start to vote on their stories they stop reading my book and take the votes back. If you wanted me to read your book you should have just said so. Don’t come here with that pretentious crap and act like you want to do a genuine read for read. 
            
            This post wasn’t meant to guilt trip anyone into reading my books. If my stories aren’t for you then they aren’t for you, but don’t act interested in them when you’re not. 
            
            If I ask you to recommend me one of your books to read, or I go on your page and read your stories you’re under no obligation to return the favor and I don’t expect you to. If someone comes on my page and reads my stories I’m definitely returning the favor. That’s what I meant by I believe in supporting each other. The part of my post I wrote about people not wanting to read other’s stories was for the read for read crap going on. 
            
            Anyways, I just wanted to clear things up.
