(     rue blinks slowly at her.     he wasn’t sure if he was just insulted or not.     did he really look like he got sick easily?—     was that even a [thing],     to look like that?      after a moment he rolls his eyes.     )     psh.     you don’t know that.     you’re only guessing—     maybe even self projecting.     because this is only a little!     i’ve been much wetter before.     (     at his wording choice he cannot help but cringe.     )

(  nicasia’s  gaze  bore  into  him  as  she  silently  looked  at  him.  )   “  you  look  like  you  get  sick  easily  and  often,  and  when  you  do  get  sick,  you’re  a  total  baby.  ”    (  she  didn’t  know  if  what  she’d  said  was  correct,  but  that  was  only  a  theory.  )    “  why  don’t  you  just  admit  that  it’s  much  more  than  a  little.?  ”

he gives a slight shrug  ,  not actually bothered by the whole situation.  he was just happy the guy wasn't possessed or something.  "no need to apologize  ,  it's fine!  ...  and I won  ,  of course."  no he didn't.  he actually   '  lost  '    a lot sooner than he would have liked.

sorry.      sometimes i do that.     (     rue offers a sheepish smile,     knowing that it happens more than just [sometimes] and that he didn’t have any sort of explanation to give other than an apology.     at the mention of a staring contest he can’t help but let out a small laugh.     )      yeah?     who blinked first?

(     his brown eyes flicker down over his form,     a frown tugging at his lips at the sight of him being wet once again and having not realized it.     rue flexes his fingers,     but feels nothing other than just a pleasant breeze.     )     um.     ..right.     maybe i’m a little chilly.
