Writing-as-therapy has been an MO for most of my life.  I don't always finish what I start, but occasionally I get lucky.  

Closer to 45 than 25, I'm an old geezer, but not afraid to channel my inner twelve year old. 

I do my best writing while fueled on bad music and even worse wine. Indiscriminate, I will write anything that comes to mind with a decent premise (this includes FanFic).

I am owned by two cats who treat me like hired help and I don't mind in the least.   

My Tools of The Trade:
Scrivener
Pro Writing Aid -- very much worth the subscription price!
The Positive Trait Thesaurus, The Negative Trait Thesaurus, and The Emotion Thesaurus -- a series of books by Angela Ackerman and Becca Puglisi. These are new to my library and are already invaluable for determining ways to describe emotions and characteristics.
