That Nerd Dave has been a freelance journalist, comic book writer, and podcaster. He has written short stories, poetry, and comics books under various pen names. A life-long fan of comic books and video games, he currently co-hosts a pop-culture podcast and writes comic book shorts for various anthologies.
He started writing fan fiction as a way to sharpen his prose skills in anticipation of new, original work and to pay tribute to the franchises he loved during his formative years.
