We move right along in life as we are forced to do. With the COVID numbers climbing to a rate we don't even understand Chicago goes on a soft lockdown again. It wasn't as harsh as the first one and we had already been moved back to tier 3 so honestly not much changes for us. Luckily Bri now has this amazing house we can use to keep ourselves preoccupied.

As for today we were going to do a relationship quiz video for the fans. This is the one people asked about most and since we were doing this whole Netflix thing that's about to start recording we might as well put it all on the table becasue they'll keep asking until we say something. And we rather the information about us come from us and not jealous crazy ex girlfriends or the paparazzi from LA who tried to say her and Dave were together now even though Dave has been out as gay since he was 16.

So we find a matching outfit because Bri loves her aesthetics in her videos and we go to the recording room. We sit on the couch under all the pictures she put up and start the video. I pull Garfield into my lap and we get started.

"Okay, first question" she starts. "Who was interested first?"

I sit there and think because this was a tricky question. "I'm not sure. The first four years everything was platonic, we were just really good friends. Neither of us even talked about being together let alone made a move. Then when you moved in at the beginning of this year I admit, things were very different. I wasn't in a relationship anymore and you for some reason looked like you stepped out of a plane than came from heaven. We both showed interest but it was pretty much at the same time when you arrived this year" I explain.

"I would be lying if I said I didn't crush on you before this year. But not a home wrecking crush, one of those "you're a cool dude with a good personality and my bar is very low" kind of crush. I kept my distance and I respected your relationship because I knew you weren't the kind of guy to cheat.

But yeah once I moved here and found out you were single not much stopped me from showing interest after that" she giggles.

"I mean you were pretty set on being just friends for while" I remember.

"As were you. I wanted to give you time because getting out of one long relationship just to get into another can be exhausting. Especially considering your second relationship would be with me. And I was as lost as I ever had been when I got here. Just trying to get away from the chaos not realizing there was nowhere I could go it wouldn't find me. And that made the way we got together natural and beautiful and I loved it" she smiles.

"And I love you" I say as I give her a soft kiss.

"Alright next question. Who wears the pants in the relationship" she asks.

"You do but then I keep you in check sometimes. So you wear the pants but sometimes I have to help you get them on" I explain as she starts to laugh.

"That's actually really accurate" she chuckles.

"Its the best way to describe it" I shrug.

"I'm good with that answer so next question. What is your favorite thing about the other person" she questions.

"Ohhh oh oh me! I want to go first" I cheer as I jump up and down in my seat.

"Alright go ahead" she rolls her eyes already knowing I was about to do the most.

"Oh, now I don't even know where to start" I admit as she just shakes her head. "I guess I can start with the way your heart is. I know your dad always made sure you put others before you, just like he did, but your heart is special. You can take one look at someone you never even met and make them feel like your favorite person in the world. I saw it in Italy and in LA and Canada and Chicago. Everywhere you go, every person you meet you touch them, even in a pandemic where we shouldn't be close enough to touch people. You find a way to stay safe and still make people's days brighter and I love that about you. I love your mind because it comes up with the most insane ideas. Your bag it up challenge from earlier this year was brilliant and you helped so many people get a meal and be able to take care of themselves. Your work with the lgbtq community and Black Lives Matter community is more than anyone realizes because you like to do your work quietly so you don't get the praise. I love how open you are with your struggles and your life so people know that you're not perfect either and life will never be. But we should always be down for the ride.

Honestly, I just love everything about you" I admit.

I see her eyes start to well as she looks up at me. Usually she cuts me off when I say stuff like this but sometimes we need to hear it. Sometimes we just need to know that there is someone out there as in love with us as we are with them.

"I'm gonna cry" she whispers making me smile.

"No baby, don't cry" I say as I pull her into my chest. I rub her arm as she sniffles a little.

"I just love you so much" she says softly.

"I know baby" I assure her.

"I love you more than anything. More than life, more than fame or money or power. I would give it all up just to run away with you. If I never made another video or another cent just to be with you I would do it without hesitation. Because you're not just the amazing hockey player people know you as, you're a great man who took care of my family when I wasn't even here. When we were just friends and I couldn't be here you were here for them. You always check in on me because you knew when I say that I'm okay even when I'm not. Your ability to love is something unmatched in this world, something I am so lucky to be able to receive. I honestly believed that I would never get to see the love this world posses, but you showed me. You taught me so much about love and I never want it to end" she explains.

"It won't" I promise. "As long as I am alive I will never stop showing you just how much I love you."
